KANE'S POV

I returned home just as hanii returned after school and she looked worried looking at me.

"what's wrong? you look tired?"

"don't worry hanii, I had some stuff to take care of. Actually, I resigned as a devil and now I can stay with you in the human world."

"you what?? oh my god! how? did they scold you ? were you in trouble? are you okay?"

She was freaked out and I found it cute. She was worried about me.

"no, no hanii, it all went smooth. I just have to wait for my new identifications to arrive and then I can start a job here !"

Just as I finished saying that she hugged me. She hugged me so tight that I felt as if my lungs were going to burst out. Where did this little girl get so much energy? Suddenly I felt my shirt getting soaked. I looked down and gently grabbed her face. She was crying !!

"Hanii !! why are you crying, darling?"

"You didn't have to....I-I it's okay if you are a devil, I still love you a lot! You don't have to sacrifice your things for me.."

She continued to cry.

This was my first time trying to console a crying person so I knew I will suck at this job.

"Hey hey look at me hanii, I did it willingly, I wanted to start a new life with you...be with you all the time...It's okay hanii, it's okay.."

I gently patted her head. She cried for a little more time and looked at me with her glossy and puffy eyes.

"I wanna treat you to ice cream, do you like ice cream?"

"Sure hanii, let's go!"

I wasn't that much of an ice-cream lover but having ice cream or just anything with her was my favorite.

LOONA'S POV

I still can't believe he left all those luxuries and came to live in the human world with me. This man is precious !! We went to the cafe near my school and we both had two big portions of ice cream. Hazelnut and white chocolate ice cream for me while banana and chocolate chip ice cream for him. He enjoyed the ice cream and we shared our ice cream. I was happy that he enjoyed my little treat!

Once we returned home, it was already dark. First I had a shower and then Kol had a shower. We both had rice and curry for dinner. Of course, I cooked it and he complimented my cooking !!! Kol was looking a little tired so I asked him to go to the bed but he insisted on watching TV with me so did I.After watching TV while cuddling each other, I could feel Kol slowly start to doze off. he must be really tired! I tried to wake him up but as soon as I touched him, I freaked out!! he was having a high fever and his forehead was covered in sweat. I knew something was wrong with him !!!

"k-Kol.."

"kk-Kol, wake up..."

I tried to wake him up softly and he slowly opened his eyes. He looked so weak and I felt miserable seeing someone I absolutely cherish so sick and weak.

"let's get you to the bed Kol"

I slowly carried him to my room. I just felt keeping him in my room would make it easier for me to take care of him. He, owning a well-built model-like body, weighted almost like an elephant but I carefully carried him making sure not to stumble on the way. I softly place him on the bed and took the thermometer to check his temperature and it read 99. F'. I quickly took a warm towel and placed it on his forehead. I thought twice before unbuttoning his shirt but I did at the end. He was sick and I needed to tend to him. His skin was super soft and his rock-hard abs were in an 8 pack. Oh god, what a sight it was !! But I didn't want to take advantage of him when he was sick so I shifted my mind to tending him.

I gently soaked his body with water and he didn't even move. I think he was in a deep slumber. Once his temperature was lowered I replaced the warm cloth on his forehead again and sat on the floor near my bed. I preferred sitting on the floor rather than sitting on a chair. I took my phone and checked out the messages. Cal was had sent me few messages and I text her back and told her that Kol was sick. She told me that she and Trav were with his parents and that they will visit us tomorrow. I told her that she doesn't need to come but she insisted on coming. With time I felt sleepy so I checked his temperature again making sure he was okay before placing my hands on the bed and resting my head on my arms.

next day

A THIRD PERSON'S POV

Sunlight was entering the cozy room making Kane wake up from his sleep. He was still feeling a little tired but thanks to someone's special care his fever was subsided. The sleepy Kane looked around foreign to his surroundings only to find a head and two hands on the bed. First, he literally freaked out seeing the big chunk of hair and a pair of hands on the bed but it didn't take long for him to understand what happened. Loona was still sitting on the floor resting her head on the bed. Kane could feel his insides warm up thinking about how selfless Loona is to take care of him and let him rest on the bed. He gently patted her head but seeing her slowly waking up, he quickly went back to sleep. He wanted to play around a little bit.

Meanwhile, Loona waked up and stretched her body which was hurting all over as she slept in a weird position but it wasn't new to her considering how she has slept all the time. She slowly kept her palm on Kane's forehead to check his temperature and his fever was gone now. Kane slowly opened his eyes and Loona was happy to see his face happy and bright unlike his pale, pained face from yesterday.

"How are you feeling now Kol?"

Now, this Kol wanted to play around a little bit.

"My head is hurting hanii"

He touched his head and faked a pained expression. Meanwhile, Loona was worried a lot.

"Shall I give you a massage Kol?"

"will it help hanii?"

Kane found it super difficult to hide his growing grin

"you'll see !"

She said proudly before climbing onto the bed and resting his head on her lap. Loona started to gently massage his head while he stared at her innocent green eyes which were fully focused to give her best to the massage. Actually, Loona enjoyed massaging his head, ruffling her small hands through his silk-like smooth hair.
