The room was lightly lit by candles and the bed was covered with rose petals...it smelled like roses everywhere making the atmosphere even more romantic. I could feel him coming towards me, who was still glued to the same spot right after entering the room. I mean who would have known that my husband would be this romantic...I was lost in my own thoughts not realizing that Lol was beside me. I broke away from my thoughts as I felt his arm on my waist. His minty breath fanned my face as his musky scent invaded my senses. His right hand slowly slid up my waist and cupped my left cheek. I looked into his eyes as I saw him lean into me ... I closed my eyes to feel his soft lips against mine but I didn't feel it yet ... As I waited for anticipation of his soft lips, I heard a scream in the distance...

"Mooommmmyyyyyyyyy"

Wait- what?

"Mooommmmyyyyyyyyy"

I gasped as I felt a little weight jump on me followed by another...I slowly opened my eyes, still a little sleepy as Kol had other plans last night, well lemme tell you that plans didn't include sleeping. Adrian was sitting on Kol's back as he was sleeping on his stomach and Bella was sitting on my tummy. Didn't we lock the door last night? Oh my goose! Wait a second so the whole romantic thing I saw was a dream? Oh god, kids couldn't you come a minute later? I just missed a ducking kiss !! I should have known better than to dream with these two in the house.

"Arghhhh Adriannn"

Groaned Kol trying to get Adrian off his shoulders. These kids never let us be in peace.

"Dadaaaa!! You thold thath we could goo to da fuck"

Kol looked hella confused while I burst out laughing. "That's not how u say it you stupid, say it like this, Dada, you said that you would take us to the park today !! "Adrian said to Bella and Kol in a mature tone, which was really cute. Kol's mouth turned into an O shape as he recalled his promise to our two babies Adrian and Bella. It has been almost six years since our marriage and now we have two kids. A boy and a girl.Adrian who is around 5 and Bella who is still 2 years old. These two are the apple of our eye, and not to mention the third one in my belly who is 4months now. We and Cal's family agreed to bring our kids to the park for a picnic. Cal and Trav now have two daughters and a son. The last two are twins.

We all got ready to get to the park soon but it was not easy managing two hyperactive kids and the biggest baby, Kol. He was complaining that he couldn't cuddle me enough and the kids were wreaking havoc in the room seeing me wrapped up in Kol's protective arms. Well, it ended up setting Adrian's tiny teeth to mark on Kol's arm which was around my waist, so yeah you can imagine how his teeth got printed on his arm. Kol's face at that moment was just, hilarious !!

Once the picnic mat and refreshments were prepared and packed and the kids were all ready, we got in the SUV to meet Cal's family. It took us around 10 minutes to reach the park and Cal, Trav and their babies were already there in the grassland. They always take me by surprise at how they manage to be on time all the time despite having three kiddos troubling them. Their twins Clara and Arron are now almost four and they all look adorable. Adrian and Bella charged towards them forgetting about everything else in the world and soon began to play being in their own worlds. Meanwhile, us parents greeted each other and began to set up the picnic mat while chatting.

"You two look adorable Loon"Cal said and Trav nodded in agreement.

"Not more than you two"

Said Kol and I grinned at his clever remark.

"I still remember you being that cold, hazardous person mate... Those days are unforgettable"

Said Trav knowing exactly how to embarrass Kol and I couldn't waste this opportunity to tease him more.

"Yeah, yeah, that cold-hearted jerk.... I wonder where he has gone"

I pretended to miss him and I could see Kol smirking.

"I am too hot to be a cold-hearted jerk now, babe"

Kol's raspy voice breathed behind my ears and all the hair on my neck rose stilled. I could feel my cheeks heat up and I could see the suggestive smiles that Cal and Trav gave me.

"Get away Kol, people are staring at us"

I gently pushed him away from my shoulders hiding my face to not let him see the tomato version of me for the millionth time but he grabbed me by my midriff and whispered again sending shivers down my spine.

"Then let's continue at home when people aren't watching us"

By now I must have been redder than reddest red and this man was at fault. Just his touch could make thousands of butterflies roam in my tummy and I just can't imagine my life without him. It started with me crying over how much pathetic and unfair my life was but who knew all that trouble was a blessing in disguise? I met the most special people in my life thanks to that.This love, these relationships, our babies, our sweet little home, this happiness.... Simply everything in my life is just perfect. It is all I ever wanted and I can't be more grateful for everything.

I just want you to remember, whatever shit life puts you through, don't give in until you have what you want. If life challenges you, challenge life back... Be a challenge to life and show how strong you are. Because you are strong, much stronger than you can ever imagine

I just feel like I haven't done my best in this story so I'm really really sorry if I got my rainbows disappointed.
