LOONA'S POV

It was getting pretty late so we decided to head back to our apartment but didn't miss buying some of the colorful cotton candy and the roasted hazelnuts on the way. Cal and Trav stayed for the night deciding to leave tomorrow so we went to bed after showering.

Andddd Yesss !! there were only two rooms and only one bed in each room! I already know Cal and Trav will have a splendid night but for me, I had never shared a bed with anyone except my cute soft toys so I just stood near the bed and stared at Kol as if asking him what I should do. Okay tell you the truth, I definitely didn't want to sleep on the floor nor on the couch in the living room. Sleeping under his warm embrace was the best choice but how can I expect myself to jump on the bed and tell him hey, you are a comfy and warm pillow that I'd love to cuddle me to sleep ...hell no! And my lovely Kol got my message. He pats his arm on the bed and motioned me to come but it was not only the gestures, I mean did he ever give up a chance to tease me?

"didn't know that you loved to sleep while standing, love"

He exclaimed, humor and mockery painting his voice. I shot him a playful glare and climbed onto the bed, which was super super super soft and smelled like him. Okay, people now I have other plans! screw sleep I'm going to be sniffing the bed sheets the whole night! It felt a little awkward but I shrugged it off and stared at the ceiling obvious to the intense stare I got from Kol. Suddenly two strong arms grabbed my waist and the next thing I knew, my face was pressed against his chest and his arms were hugging me protectively. He gently patted my head and played with my hair. His chin was resting on my head and I could almost hear his steady heartbeat but lemme tell you my heart wasn't doing fine, like not at all! It was galloping like a crazy horse and I could feel blood rush through all my veins. Each and every inch of my skin became super sensitive and started to send electric sparks wherever his touch was landed. I was 200% sure that I was the tomato version of Loona by now but hopefully the dim light of the lamp didn't give it out. Despite all those feelings, I circled my arms around his waist and pulled myself closer to him if it was even possible.

A THIRD PERSON'S POV

No words were shared that night. It was only them hugging each other in sleep but that simple gesture of them spoke pages and pages. He felt loved and free. It was after a long time that he could sleep so peacefully while it was the first time Loona hugged someone to sleep after years. His arms were protectively wrapped around her waist, reminding her that she was safe in his embrace. His continuous patting of her head displayed how comfortable and loved he made her feel. His peaceful heartbeat was a perfect lullaby for her ears which made her fall into a peaceful slumber. Her soft hug made his whole body feel at ease and her tiny arms tangles on his waist reminded him that she will be with him, together whatever the condition was. The heat radiating from her soft and petite body relaxed every muscle fiber in his body. Her soft breathing and light snores lullabied him to sleep.

They comforted each other and were each other's source of light on the dark path called life. Different people find various ways to light their path in life and they had chosen each other for that job. Until they reach the end of that path, they will go together. They will help each other, care for each other, share joy and sorrow, become the pillars of strength for each other.

It all started with a mistake followed by misunderstandings, anger, hate, regret, longing, worry but it achieved one of the best endings that anything could have. It ended with love. Despite their differences and weaknesses, despite the barriers and obstacles, they learned to go past those and to love each other. That four-letter word, L.O.V.E. It is a List Of Vivid Emotions...the happiness, feeling of safety, passion, feeling of selflove, feeling as if you were on top of the world, the feeling of increasing heartbeat whenever that special someone looks in your direction, sensing the sparks of electricity along your spine and beneath your skin when that special someone holds or touches you, how your world stops when your eyes lock with that lovely being, how your surroundings fade away and only the both of you remain on the scene, the feeling of safety and protectiveness over that special person, infinite comfort you find in each other.....the list could go on and on......

Loona and Kane were winners, they were winners of this adventurous competition to find your perfect other half... Their path will be beautiful, like a bed of roses but still, roses do have thorns. Anyways they had each other and with their perfect other by their side, those thorns will be no big deal for them...
