Victor's POV
I swing the door open, harshly and walk inside the house stomping. I'm furious right now! All i can eel is the burning sensation of revenge! We lived in a ruined cottage.
"Are you alright Victor? What happened?" asks Zara, my wife. I can see the tension on her face
"Its enough Zara! I can't stand them anymore!" I scream
"Hey, calm down first of all! And is there anything we can do about this now?" she says "Anything other than hiding and keeping ourselves safe?"
"I don't know & I don't care! They killed Sam Zara!!" she gasped
Sam had always been a great friend, in both good and bad times. He was a great man. And today, they killed him.
"They killed him. Right there..infront of my eyes. And I could'nt do a thing!" tears filled my eyes but were soon replaced by anger. Anger raging over me.
"I have to do something!" I said standing

Zara packs my bag with a pair of clothes, water, and some food. I'm leaving for the old library in the North. That's where I'll get my answers. I know it. It was hard leaving my beloved wife alone here. But I had to do this. To keep here safe.
I leave the city through alot of hardships, hiding from them. I know if they find me, they'll kill me. Who are they? They're Vampires. They have been living here for years, killing every human is sight just to satisfy their thirst. Draining every drop of blood from our bodies. Everyone is afraid of them, everyone except me.
I reach the deep black forest. Fortunately there aren't any vampires here, i might come across wild animals but I'm a hunter so i am sure i'll be safe. I'm walking through the forest when i hear thunder.
"oh great..." i mumble to my self on the thought of rain, or should i say storm because thats what it has turned into in a few minutes.
I keep walking. My pace fast but then I see a cave. I think for a moment and walk towards it. I take my gun out incase i meet some bears or lions but fortunately the cave is empty.
I still take a look around for my satisfaction. But there is nothing. I keep walking until I find a nice spot or spend the night at. I lay down and look up at the roof of the old cave. I look to my left and then right, examining the cave. It sure was old.
Just then something catching my eye. Something shiny. On the right side stuck between the rocks. I get up and walk towards it. I use my gun to break the rocks around it. To my surprise, its a gem, a purple gem. Something i have never seen before.
I take it in my hand and in a matter of seconds i feel like the part of my hand, in which i was holding it, burning. And then something strange happens,
the gem shines very bright and something happens which causes me to fall and then everything gets blurry. I black out.

Author's Note: I am extremely sorry for this very short Chapter! Today was my last exam so that means tomorrow is the first day of spring break *cheers*. And I'll update again on the weekend to make up for this short chapter and last to weeks of not updating! Btw did u guys see how Liam James Payne slayed that hater?? xDD LMAO best day!
