Victor's POV
I slowly open my eyes as a headache rages through my head. I slowly sit up straight trying to remember what made me black out.
"That gem..." i mutter
That gem was the reason I blacked out. I didn't understand, all I did was touch that damn gem then why did i black out? I decided to stand up and take a look at that gem again, this time making sure that i don't touch it! I stand up and look around trying to figure out where the gem was but to my surprise, it was no where to be found. I looked everywhere, searched every corner of the cave, but i couldn't find it anywhere!
"Ah, that was a weird experience! I should getting going" i say to myself
I pick my gun up and walk out of the cave. I miss Zara. She was the reason i was doing all this. All for her. I loved her! More than anything else in this world. I had to protect her. I had to protect the whole town. Set them all free from the cruelty of those vampires.
I keep walking for what seems like hours until i see another cave. It looks alot like the cave i saw earlier. I decide to look because it can't be the same cave can it? But to my surprise it is the same damn cave i spent the night in. I didn't even realize that i have been walking in circles!
"Oh great..." i sigh
But i can't just give up right now, i have to keep going for Zara and the town.
I come out of the cave and take a look around.
"Yup, its the same place!"
I take a few steps and come across something, a small building like a cottage.
"I'm a 1000% sure this wasn't here earlier!" i state
But how can something just appear this way? And there's no way someone built this overnight.
I walk towards the building. I knock on the door a few times and it opens. I step inside and realize is a library. Wooden shelves, tall and short filled the room with many, many books.
"May I help you?" i hear someone, I look to my right and see an old lady sitting behind an old wooden desk writing down something in a book.
"Ah, yes, is this the library known as 'The Old Library' " i ask
"Oh yes, it is..how may i help?" she asks once again.
Oh, so this is the one, the library i have been looking for. But how did it just come out of nowhere?
"Um, do you have any books related to the history of Vampires?" i ask
"This way" she says motioning me to follow her.
We walk towards the right end of the building where there are alot of old books. She points towards one of the shelves and then walks back to her desk.
I start searching the books inorder to find one about any vampire hunters.
I keep searching until my eyes catch something, a book. I take that book out and place on an old wooden table and brush off the dust.
"The Hunters of Laodicea" is what it read.
I opened the book and started reading.
An ancient Greek citiy, once located in Mesopotamia, Iraq, now lost. A city filled with people and supernatural beings. Vampires mostly, were a common thing to live around. They'd kill humans for the sake of blood thirst, impossible to stop. But one day, came three men and soon Vampires were no where to be seen. The three men, now known as 'The Hunters of Laodicea' killed almost all of them kind. The rest ran away in the fear of disintergrating.
At the end of the book, it was written about how those hunters manage to kill the immortal. It said that they can only be killed or hurt by silver, pure silver. Weapons made of pure silver could burn and even kill them.
Ashley's POV
"And so he came back to town and gathered all the people. They brought all of there silver and burnt and melted it inorder to shape them as weapons. Him. with a few other men started to kill all the Vampires in the town. The war kept going for decades. Victors son and then his son, all became hunters. The vampires were all scared and so decided to call upon the leaders. It was thought to be a war but they decided to make a treaty. A treaty which said that now on wards no Vampire will come out of the forest and kill human beings to feed their thirst. Instead they'll drink animal blood within the forest. And the human beings weren't allowed to wander around in the forests but if they do and get kiled by Vampires, they, themselves will be responsible. And whoever tries to break the rules shall be punished. And so the connection between Vampires and humans got over over the centuries and Vampire became a fictitious part of fiction." He completes the story.
I'm amazed to know the history. I never thought that it consisted of all this.
"And we're here!" he says stopping the car and turning the keys to turn off the engine.
"uh, where?" i ask with a confusing look
He doesn't reply's, instead he gets out of the car, walks over to my side and opens the door for me to come out of the car. We walk into, what looks like a forest.
"Where are we going Zayn?" i ask again
"You'll know soon, just trust me!" he smiles.
I nod and we walk. We keep walking through the forest coming across a thousand old trees covering almost every part of the noon sky. Sunlight peeked from every small spaces between the trees lightning up only a few parts of the forest.
We keep walking what seems like for hours and then come to a complete stop.
"Ashley, you see that over?" he asks pointing towards an old building
"Yeah, why?" i reply
"This is where we are going" he snaps
"So we came all the way here just to be in an old building which seems abandoned for ages?" i ask cocking a eyebrow.
"Wait until you find out what place this is" he chuckles and walks towards the building, me following.
We open the wooden door and enter the old cottage. Or should i say a library filled with shelves, each with hundreds of books.
"May I help you?" says an old lady sitting behind a table.
"Is this the library also known as "The Old Library" " asks Zayn.
I swear i could tell that these words are familiar. Just something hits me. And I look at Zayn.
"Welcome to The Old Library" he smirks.
What?

Zayn leaving, going solo with NB , house hunting with perrie then flying to france *sighs* It has been a busy week tbh!
