Alison had stayed up for the last month preparing her speech, this would conclude her studies in law and give her her final grade which was very important if she wanted to become any kind of MP. The most sleep she got in a day was 3 hours and was living off coffee and red bulls. She had decided that she wants to become an MP, Julian had told her all about the pros and cons, given her tips and even helped her to prepare however, nobody ever seemed to remind Alison to take care of herself: eat, shower, sleep etc. The ghosts had forgotten all about what it takes to stay alive.

"I think I've finished" Alison said before flopping onto the couch and falling into a deep sleep, the next day she woke up as the clock chimed 14:00 as she opened her eyes she saw Captain stood over her with his cane tightly tucked under his arm "wow Alison that's the longest you have slept in the last month- have you finished writing that speech?". Alison rubbed her eyes as they were still closing from how exhausted she was "yeah, yeah Cap- just need Julian to check it and then I'm off to perform it." "Good work soldier" captain gave Alison a smile before walking off. Alison then groaned and got off the couch she realised her plan was now coming closer to realisation: Pass the test, become successful, earn money to refurbish Button House, have people stay and use their services.

Unfortunately that day Alison was feeling extremely exhausted "JULIAN" she shouted too tired to go around looking for him. "I'm right here" Julian said walking through a nearby wall "Please could you check my final speech?, I'm performing it today at 6" "of course I can Alison, speeches were my specialty you know, I gave many great ones during my time..." He then went on a ramble whilst scrolling down the page up on Alison's screen. Meanwhile Alison was across the room- her head ached and her chest felt heavy, she was in pain it felt almost as if somthing was stabbing at her heart: not mentioning the fact that she felt extremely tired and felt as if she could fall asleep at any moment. "Hello Alison- you look lovely as always" Kitty said excitedly "I agree" Thomas  interrupted appearing out of nowhere- correcting his posture "Awh thank you guys" Alison said forcing herself to smile "Though Alison I must say, you do look extremely pale- please do not take this as an insult you still are the most beautiful person to walk these grounds but I must say you do look quite unwell."

Alison walked up to her room and put on a smart black shirt with a gold pattern and a pair of nicely fitting jeans, she sat down on the bed to put on her smart shoes. Thomas suddenly entered "Alison oh Alison, the love of my death, why oh why do you not answer me" "Don't be dramatic Thomas, I'm just nervous and I got scared when you mentioned that I look pale- is it that obvious that this speech is making me anxious? Nobody wants to listen to a speech given by a person who is a nervous wreck" she sighed "Do not worry Alison for I, who has made many public speeches before, I know you shouldn't worry about anything." They both smiled at each other before Alison walked out and downstairs.
