Epilogue

Hey everyone here's an epilogue to this story maudie99o and I hope you enjoyed. We definitely enjoyed writing it. Also if you want a sequel let us know. We have a few ideas already, but we still want to know what you would think. Anyways we hope you enjoy if you do vote and comment 💖

"So what are we going to do now?" Breeze asks as the eight animals lie out on the lawn. "Well Marvel and I are definitely settling in around here. And we still have Zeke to take care of, some finally found our place and hopefully we can now live our lives. "I don't know bro I kind of connected with Olive, I think I want to stay here with Hope and Olive if they allow me." Marvel says as Miracle nods, "Alright bro if that's what you want I'm definitely sticking with Zeke though." Miracle says as they look to their sisters.

 "What about you where are you going. "We like Drea,and Drea likes us. After the scare today she asked if we wanted to stay with her. She still says we can be free during the day, but she connects with us and we understand her." Breeze says as Ash nods, "Yeah, and we are technically half dogs so we do want to be loved but also have freedom. Drea is giving us that. I think we'll stay with her. What about you Rina and Gwen are you going to stick around." Ash asks hopefully as both wolves instantly shook their heads. 

"Heck no, someone needs to protect the forest, and those two are us. Besides, we would never fit in." Rina says looking at the mountain, both Miracle and Marvel saw the longing in their eyes and she couldn't blame them; they were all wolves after all. "No, stay please Breeze and I do need you. We barely know this world. We can face it together just like everything else." Ash says as she wasn't one to beg but she just wanted her adoptive sisters around. The wolves just shook her head, "Ash we're not half dogs, we're true wolves we belong in the wild. And we have a job to do. Plus I have a feeling there is so much more, and we want to know. We're sorry but you have to face this life on your own because it's just not us. We don't belong in this world, we belong in the one beyond the forest." Gwen says as Ash and Breeze sigh, they knew they couldn't ask them to stay. Gwen and Rina would be in a cage here and they did belong in the mountains.

 "Okay we see your points, but when will we see you again? I don't want to completely lose you." Breeze says as both wolves look at each other nodding, "You are welcomed at our home anytime, and you know where to find us if we're not there the wolf says, as Breeze nods, before running and nuzzling them Ash does the same. "We'll see you soon okay?" Ash asks pulling away as Rina and Gwen nod, "Of course!" they say in unison before jumping the fence. "We love you guys and we'll smell you around!" The wolves call out before galloping off, glad to be getting out of the city and home to the mountains.

Later that night Faith, Miracle, Hope and Marvel head to the forest to stargaze. But are alerted when they hear a snap, "Who's there?'' They growl in unison. Ash held her paws out, "Just us, Drea allowed us out so we decided to come out and enjoy the night." Ash says as The couple's look at the white dog's sister. Faith could tell they were missing the other part of the family as Ash and Breeze nod, "We hope so." They both say in unison before hearing a howl break through the silence. It was Gwen's and Rina's, and it was saying "Goodnight" All the dogs looked at each other before nodding and howling back, knowing everything would be okay now."
