When Things Go South

The two snow dogs sigh in relief, as Michaela and Zeke was safe for now. And Ben had literally  bumped into them. The only ones they were missing were Hope, Cal, and Eden. Who had no idea what was going on above the ground.  That's when they heard a howl which made Ben and Michaela look around. "Just great wolves are near that  could be very bad new." Michaela says.

Meanwhile the two female wolves we're hiding behind rocks discussing their options. "How are we supposed to help Jace had just proved we can't take them down on our own." Ash says as Breeze thought for a minute. "What about our sisters? They should not be that far away their probably looking for us by now." Breeze says as Ash nods, "Great idea let's call them" Ash says as both wolves howl hoping that their sisters would hear them. That's when they smelled Jace. He was close.

Thankfully two of their sister ran up to them. "Hey what's going on sis. A white wolf asks as  another one turned up. "Oh hey sisters no time to explain... Um we need eyes and ears everywhere look for a loud, tannish, grey hair man, short beard." Ash says as the two wolves just nods, knowing better then to questioning the black wolf. "Breeze just nods her head, "Thanks Gwen, thanks Rina," Breeze says with a smile as both wolves nod; before running off. That's when they heard Hope howl for help making all the human, dogs, and wolves look in the direction Hope was in. "Nevermind regroup, I repeat regroup!" Ash howls out to the two other wolves, as Breeze looked to her. "You know it would be faster if we used our powers right now." Breeze says making Ash nod you're right especially yours, but their to close. We can't let them see!"" Ash barks out as Breeze nods, "Yeah I know." Breeze says letting her paws glow slightly making the wind pick up.

"Let's try something," Breeze says as Ash looked to her. "Great I don't like when you make the plans!" Ash barks out as Breeze always loved extending their powers and learning more to them, but it could also get them into some trouble, but at this moment it seemed like she would have to trust her sister. " But I trust you so let's do this," Ash says.

Faith didn't like the sound of the wolves howling nearby, it meant more danger to them especially when Hope howled. Faith had known Hope since they were brought home. She only howled like that when there was serious danger. So Faith quickly runs the two white dogs following her "Faith wait up, we're a team!" Miracle and Marvel bark out as Faith looked at them panicked "We got to get to Hope and Cal they need us." Faith says as Marvel looks to the lake. "I know, but there's no need to waste your breath. Let Miracle and I help you. Go to the lake I got the rest." Marvel barks as Faith nods she had worked with these two dogs for awhile, and knew they would do everything in her power.

She had doubted them once, when Michaela was shot. She wasn't going to do that again, "Alright thanks you Faith says as she rushed to the water where Marvel made a whirlpool. "This may hurt a bit." Marvel warned as he only did this once before and it didn't end prettily. Faith just nods, "Just do it." Faith barks impatiently as Marvel nods making  a wave  that carried them to where Hope, before Marvel absorbed the water. Seeing Hope growling at Jace and Grace with a rifle in her hand pointing at Jace who has his hands up. Faith wasn't expecting this in the slightest the tables had turned so quickly, and Faith had no idea who to defend. She definitely didn't want to get in between a mad Grace.

That's when they heard a crash and a quiet "Ow." Faith nor the others paid much attention to it though, because Ben came running up, "Grace don't do that he's going to die in few minutes anyways! He's not worth it." Ben called out to his wife who looked to him but still had the gun pointed at him. "Grace please it's not worth it Miracle says treading in front of Jace looking at Grace. "Miracle get out of the way." Grace says as Miracle shook his head no. "That's right dog she doesn't have the guts to kill me." Jace mocks making Grace cock the gun and Miracle growl. "Would you really want to try that?" Miracle asks as he let his paw glow blue. What he wasn't expecting was an orange fireball to come out of no where and to melt Jace's knife. That's when one of the strangest things happened.

Jace started throwing up water and was drowning from the inside out the snow dog backed up as Grace put the rifle down both a bit freaked out so they just regroup watching it because they kind of had to. Eventually (because I'm not going into detail🤢) Jace fell down to the ground dead. But that wasn't the last surprise for the Stone/ Landon family. A black spirit came out of Jace's body and the two meth head who had repented were taken into it's grasp making all dogs back up this was the scariest and weirdest thing they have ever seen and that says a lot considering all the stuff they been through.

But the day still only got worse as Jace pulled Tarik in with them before they all on the ground. Both Marvel and Miracle rush to Tarik and automatically using their powers to try to heal him, but the darkness was to strong. Both white dogs sigh relunctantly looking sadly at Cal, "Tell them the darkness is to strong, even for us." Miracle whispers sadly as Cal looks to the dead uncle, but Grace already seemed to know.

That's when Angelina showed her true colors. Pete one of the meth heads had made her be better, but now before either snow dog could think of a reaction Angelina was screaming at them. "This is all your fault you monsters! If you wouldn't have started this in the first place everyone would still be alive Angelina screamed. Making both snow dogs cower. "Hey leave them alone Angelina." Zeke says as both white dogs just sigh turning away. That's when Olive called her father in pure panic.

"Dad put Miracle and Marvel on the phone now!" Olive basically yelled out making both Miracle and Marvel turn their heads and run to where the phone was. "Hey Olive what's up?" Marvel asks as Olive just looks to them. You know that myth it told you and I said that you were part of it. Well I was wrong! I misinterpreted  it I need you back home pronto before it's to late. " Olive says making Zeke nod at the dog as he heard the conversation "Go you two!" Zeke says as both dogs nod and quickly run off.

All four wolf siblings look at each other in awe what just went down was horrible, but also amazing as they never saw anything like that before. "Well that was lit!" Ash barks out as the other three nods, "Yeah now we should get home we haven't actually ate today and the sun is setting we should get home before it gets completely dark." Breeze says as the other two nod, "Yeah plus Gwen and I have an early morning tommorow and I'm pretty sure we're all hungry" Rina eldest of the four wolves says.  Ash nods, "Yeah we are starving and we do have a long say tommorow" Ash says as they start heading up the mountain little did any of the wolves know is that things would drastically change the next day, and secrets would be revealed...
