Cooper and Marcy walked inside the main hall of school, their eyes scanning the Halloween mood in the atmosphere, as in, the decorations were all over the place. It was mostly some paper made pumpkins on the walls, and fake spider webs on some lockers. But the hype was not the same at all, no one was wearing a costume; absolutely no one but the party. Cooper giggled as he saw the boys walking in the hall with Ghostbusters costumes, clearly aware that they weren't supposed to wear costumes. Cooper's eyes lingered on them for a fishy amount of time, turning his head to see Marcy's expression.

"Good thing we didn't wear costumes," He quickly saved himself, which was smooth and Marcy didn't really question his acting at all. She just took her book out of the locker and started walking towards the class, Cooper catching up from behind.

"Hey, i actually got an invite from- uhm, the party, to go trick or treating with them. They said it would be cool.. to... stop looking at me like that."

Marcy's eyes wandered elsewhere, assuring herself that she wasn't interested in the boy's questionable behavior at all; in fact, she didn't care. She was still... kind of jealous and mad at him. Though, Cooper didn't even notice that, because she always acted like she didn't care; this wasn't an exception.

Cooper went on talking like he always did.

"And then boom! he's on the ground! it was very interesting to watch them fight like that; but i was more invested in..," Marcy felt sleepy, very sleepy, as she tried to concentrate on staying awake on the recess. It was the longest recess they had, so she had to use it wisely. And sleeping during it wouldn't be really a convenient thing to do. Cooper wouldn't stop talking about his favorite wrestling fight that he watched on TV yesterday.

She felt something hit her forehead, as she looked around to spot the person who threw it at her. Will waved as he pointed at the paper on Marcy's desk. She shuddered and glanced at Cooper, who was now explaining it to himself more than her.

Wanna go trick or treating with us? You and Cooper, of course, we called Max too.

Marcy felt her stomach fill with butterflies, only reading her name was convincing enough that she liked her, but she pushed those feelings aside and nodded at Will, who excitedly waved his hands. Cooper looked over at the note and started talking something again, his lips were moving, but Marcy couldn't hear a thing. Maybe... if she put her head on the table it wouldn't be an issue-

At it was, it was an issue.

She wasn't sure if it was a dream or a real episode, but she was in the upside down, again, as she watched that shadow monster over her. Her head was resting on the table, and from the window, it was watching her, and probably silently and carefully approaching her, which made Marcy panic, so she jumped up from her seat and started running, running to the only place she felt safe after these episodes happened at school.
