"Focus... Focus..."

"SHUT UP, I'M TRYING."

"Doesn't seem so.."

The loud banging on the buttons of the machine was sent into the halls of the Arcade, alarming everyone there that someone was in a rage and on an absolute edge of quitting and breaking the game, though, the person didn't even think about quitting, yet. The sounds of bikes stopping, or going was also heard faintly, making out a few noises from other machines too, but this one was, quite frankly, the loudest among those.

"STOPP STEPPING ON MY TOE," The slightly taller boy yelled, not moving his eyes from the screen of the game, violently screeching and tapping the buttons as he inhaled and exhaled the air angrily.

"Sorry," The slightly shorter girl exclaimed and started wandering her brown orbs around, searching for something, or someone, and tapped her foot anxiously, which resulted in stepping on her best friend's toe again.

"Ugh!," The boy squeaked, rubbing his tired eyes, as he was trying to beat the game for an hour now, but there was no luck.

"Uhh, Cooper, i think it's time we go now," The girl announced, making the blonde boy a bit shocked, as he looked at the clock and groaned.

"Sorry Marcy...," Cooper breathed, tired from so much physical strength going into a stupid game, which in the end, he didn't win at all.

Cooper was a pale boy, his blonde hair below his ears, making him seem a bit feminine, though, his arms would say the opposite. After the first year trying to find his missing best friend, he was successful in gaining a few muscles, mostly on his arms and stomach. Cooper was very keen on finding Marcy last year, his searches for her were unlimited, while the students from their former school and their classmates, Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson and Lucas Sinclair joined.

William Byers and Marceline Valentine were found in the upside down; very cold and harmed, the whole story of their missing days coming to an end within a blink of an eye, when Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper found them in another dimensional world, fighting slimy creatures and the famous Demogorgon; Cooper swore he would never play D&D anymore.

"I lost the track of time again, sorry," He apologized again, remembering what Marcy went through, what she had to see everyday, praying someone would rescue her along with Will, knowing there was something, hoped there was something, but once that hope disappeared, something in Marcy clicked like a switch, and that switch wasn't easy to turn to it's original position.

Marcy was now looking around, her panicking body being too familiar to Cooper. She was a tall black haired girl, but her personality was the opposite of what she seemed to be; she did seem petite and very weak, but she wasn't, though, she would act like that due to the mental breakdowns and 'episodes' like Mike would like to call them. Will had those too, right after they were brought back, after Christmas, they were both very damaged and brutally beaten mentally, which was what led to their PTSD.

"Uhm... Marcy?," Cooper whispered, touching Valentine's shoulder and making her wince, almost in pain. She looked Cooper deadly in the eyes, making the boy sink to his core, but he allowed himself to readjust and calmly shake Marcy's shoulders again, as the girl was slowly brought back into her world.
