hot choco

After dinner, the rain stopped. He almost got into a fight with me when I said I wanted to pay the bill. Finally, when I said ok you can pay, a big smile formed on his face. He picked up my coat from the chair, handed it to me, and smiled again. When he smiled, it was as if flowers were blooming in the middle of my heart. On my way out of the restaurant, he held the door and waited for me to come out. He never left my side on the road. 

'' My house is up there. You do not need to come. ''  I said, smiling slowly.
'' It gets very dangerous here at night. I can at least come with you to your home,'' he said and looked at me
.'' Alright. ''  I said and shook my head.
'' You know how stubborn you are, right? ''  he said and laughed. '' This is the first time someone has been so against me! ''  he said, laughing out loud. '' Aisssh! Neoege  hwanasseo! ''
'' I am an independent woman and I can do anything, right? ''  I looked at him and squinted my eyes.
'' No in Korea. Men pay the bill,''  he said and laughed.
'' You are too kind! ''  I said and laughed out loud like him.

When I got to the front of the building, I turned to look at him and smiled. His hands and nose were red from the cold. He put his hands in his pockets and looked at me and smiled. And that's when I realized he had dimples.

'' This is my home. ''  I said and smiled. '' I live on the 7th floor. ''
'' I noticed. Only the light is on, ''  he said and laughed.
'' Aiissh... I left the lights on again. ''  I took a deep breath.  '' See you later. ''  I said and smiled. I took my key out of my pocket. '' Min-ah. Thank you for everything and tonight. I ate the best meal I've ever had in my life. ''
'' I told- Min-ah? No one calls me that, except my eomma and my friends,''  he said and smiled.
" Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. ''  I said in a panic.
'' I like it when you call me that. I hadn't heard it for a while,"  he said and smiled. He started jumping around because he was cold, and he smiled again. '' Go. You will get sick and it will start raining again. ''  He looked up at the sky. The sky was a deep purple-crimson color because it was going to rain again.
'' Would you like to drink hot chocolate? ''  I asked him at once.
'' Hot choco? ''  he said like a child.

He was following me as I was climbing the stairs in the apartment, looking around as if he had entered a different place for the first time in his life. Or he was afraid that someone would see him. There was no elevator as I live in an old building, he was very quiet as he went up the stairs. He hadn't said anything. When I got to my apartment, I took out my keys and opened the door. When I walked in, I held the door and smiled. He looked at me first. It was as if he was trying to decide, he was nervous. I took it off and hung my coat on the hanger by the door. When he took off his shoes and went inside, he put on the slippers on the shoe rack as if he had been living here for years, and took off his clothes and hung them up.

'' Please sit down,''  I said slowly and smiled. '' I'll have the hot chocolates ready in 5 minutes. Feel like your own home. ''

When I went into the kitchen, he started walking around the house looking at everything. He took the frame on the table and smiled and said something to himself. I could see that he was feeling good. He was enjoyed doing normal things. He stands by the window, he opened the curtain and the windows a little. He sat on the floor and right in front of the window. Seoul's scenery has always been beautiful.

'' Your house is just like you,''  he said loudly and smiled.
'' How is it like me? ''  I said and put the hot chocolate in the glasses.
'' It's warm and shy. It's like a lot of stuff is hidden inside. And it smells so good also. It's as if ıt's gathered all the orange and sweet scents together. ''
