#Movie night

“We can watch a movie at my place if you want? My parents aren't home and Charlie texted me he'll be at his girlfriends?” I smile. I see a grin form on his face and he nods heavily “That's a deal”

I let myself fall on the couch and I groan. I can feel my muscles ache from the karting. I hear Lando chuckle quietly and I look at him fake upset. He immediately stops “Are you alright?” I nod “Yeah, my muscles are just sore already” I shrug “What movie do you wanna see?” I grab the remote control “Whatever movie you wanna see” He smiles and sits down next to me. Not too close and not too far away. “I'm honestly crazy about Disney movies” I chuckle “Can we watch the lion King? It's my favorite?” I look at him. “Yeah of course, like I said whatever you wanna see” He smiles at me and I feel that I start to blush a little. I quickly look at the tv screen and look for the Lion King.

About half way through the movie I look at Lando “Do you want something to drink and snack?” I smile “Yeah, sounds good. Can I have water? And I'll just take whatever snack you'll take” I nod and go to the kitchen. I've got a few muffins left and grab two glasses of water. I walk back to him and put everything on the table. “I have some muffins left” I smile softly and hand one to him. “Thank you” He smiles. I sit back down next to him slightly closer then last time. I turn the movie back on and nibble on my muffin.

Towards the end of the movie I'm getting sleepy and I slowly tilt my head to his shoulder. We've talked a lot during the movie about the most random things. It was really nice and I'm glad we did. I really got to know him better. Eventually my head touches his shoulder and I don't even realize what I'm doing. I slowly close my eyes. By the time the movie ends I'm asleep with my head on his shoulder. I suddenly get woken up by a loud voice. “Sarah what the hell?!” I almost jump up from the couch and see Charlie came home with his girlfriend. I blink a few times and look at Lando. He looks kinda sleepy as well... I look at Charlie again. “Sarah what the hell are you doing here?” “Sorry what? I live here too Charlie, it's not just your house?” I frown. “I was going to watch a movie with Kim and suddenly you're asleep with Lando?” “Charlie just calm down.. Lando brought me home and we decided to watch a movie.. I just fell asleep?” “Sorry but I'm not gonna believe you Sarah.. I know you longer then just today.” “Uhm.. I don't exactly know what is going on right now but Sarah is just right. What she said is exactly what happened” Lando speaks up. I see Charlie roll his eyes and he goes upstairs with Kim. I look at Lando. “Thank you for that...” “It's okay... Uh I think I'll go home.. You're clearly tired” He smiles softly. I nod “Yeah... I'm sorry about my brother, I don't know what was wrong with him” I sigh. “Sarah it's alright. We'll talk later” He nods and starts to walk to the front door. It feels like he's doing everything just to get away from here as soon as he can. That's kinda painful. I follow him “Okay, I'll talk to you later. Thank you for today” I try to put on a smile. “Yeah it was fun. Bye” He nods and smiles. He opens the door and leaves without looking back at me at all. I slowly close the door. That's painful... It feels like we're back at where we started a few days ago.

I went to bed after Lando left so abruptly and it's quite late already when I can hear Kim leave. I can't believe why Charlie did this. Was it even Charlie why he wanted to leave so quickly? Maybe it was just because I fell asleep on his shoulder. Was that too far? I hear a knock on my door. “If that's you Charlie no. Don't come in” I mumble. I really don't wanna see Charlie now. I hear my door open and I look at it. I see it's Charlie “I said no” I sigh. “Sarah listen to me, I was just not expecting you to be there. It's not like you never had a crush on Lando before” He explains. “So what? You're talking bullshit Charlie... My crush on Lando has nothing to do with me just falling asleep on his shoulder. Can you please just stay out of this? I finally made things right with Lando and after the things you said he abruptly left and we're back at zero again” I rush my words out and I take a deep breath when I'm done. I can tell Charlie doesn't know how to react on what I just said. He mumbles out a quiet sorry and leaves my room. I sigh frustrated.
