“So what? You're talking bullshit Charlie... My crush on Lando has nothing to do with me just falling asleep on his shoulder. Can you please just stay out of this? I finally made things right with Lando and after the things you said he abruptly left and we're back at zero again” I rush my words out and I take a deep breath when I'm done.

It's been a few days since the movie night with Lando that ended up horrible. I still haven't heard anything from Lando. He's probably just busy since it's race week. Tomorrow is the race so I don't blame him. He may didn't have any time. But it still doesn't sit right with me. Especially the way we parted last time. I sent him a text yesterday and he didn't even read it. I honestly don't even know what I expected...

I keep telling myself I can't blame him. He's most likely just busy.. He said we would talk later... I'll just see what happens after the race. We're going into summer break after today so maybe he'll have time then... I really hope I didn't screw anything up.. Or Charlie.

"Sarah! Race is starting in 5 minutes!" I hear my dad yell from down stairs. I get up and go down stairs. I'm some how not even excited for today's race. Of course I hope Lando will do good. I check my phone again once I'm down stairs to see if I really didn't just miss his message. Still not seen. I sigh and sit down on the couch. "Are you alright darling?" My dad asks. I just simply nod. I'm not interested in talking to him about this situation. Not even interested in talking to anyone but Lando at this point. I look at the tv when it's time. The lights go out and Lando has a great start. He already overtook 3 cars that had a bad start and he's into p4 now. I cheer happily and my dad claps for him "That was a good one from Lando" He nods approving. "Yeah a great one even" I smile big.

At the end of the race it's a really close battle between Lando and Bottas for p3. I scream when Bottas makes a mistake and Lando can pass him “Yesss! Yeees!” I squeal happily. I hear Charlie laugh at me and I look at him “Shut up you, just let me be happy.” “Yeah your boyfriend got his first podium” he rolls his eyes. “He's no-” I start to defend myself but dad starts asking me questions about if he's really my boyfriend immediately. I shake my head and sigh “No, he's not my boyfriend. We just hung out a few times that's all” He's not even talking to me anymore... I add in my thoughts “Are you okay sis? You know I meant it as a joke?” Charlie quickly asks when my face becomes a little sad. “Oh yeah I'm fine, just... Don't. I'm not dating Lando” I sigh and look at the tv again.

We watch the podium ceremony together and I snap a few pictures from the tv. When everything's over I go upstairs to my room and grab my phone and go to my dms with Lando. Still not seen or a response... I send him a text to congratulate him with his p3.

This one might take a while.. He's probably busy so I can't really blame him for that. I decide to go Autumn to do some training. I get him ready and go to the arena with him. I can finally clear my mind a little when I'm riding Autumn. I'm done about an hour later and I walk into the house. I see mum and dad on the couch. I say hello and go upstairs to take a shower. Right before I get in I check if he responded and I see he read it but that's everything. Ouch.. That's painful.. I get into the shower.

When I get out of the shower and in in my pj's I see Lando is live on twitch. Not this again. Last time I saw him live on twitch I got hurt as well... I decide to watch it anyway and he just reads a question about his worst date when I tune in. “What is my worst date experience?” He chuckles lightly “Yeah I've got one in mind” He nods “I had this sort of date with a girl and we were watching a movie at her house. We were the only ones there and by the end of the movie she had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I eventually fell asleep as well and suddenly her brother came home. He started yelling at her. Almost implying something different then a movie and sleeping happened because he knew his sister longer. After he left I went home.” He explains the entire story. So it was indeed Charlie bothering him. “You're all asking me what happened after huh?” He laughs. “Well nothing really, we didn't really talked after” I feel tears welling up in my eyes. He really hates me. I get up and storm to Charlie's room. “You ruined all my damn chances I had with Lando whatever they might've been!” I yell when I'm in his room but I don't see him anywhere. I sigh. He's not home..
