This story is about Sarah. She's a 19 year old girl who's crazy about formula 1 and especially Lando Norris. When her dad buys paddock club tickets for the Silverstone Grand Prix her life changes completely.
So people really do think we're together. But what do they even base that off of?
*Little time skip of a few weeks*
I'm getting ready for a date with Lando. The past few weeks we've been talking a lot. We even went on 2 more dates. I get changed and fix my make-up. I put on my jewelry and go down stairs. My leg has been doing a lot better and has gotten quite a lot stronger luckily. I put on my jacket and go to Autumn to bring him to the field. We've been training again as well and I only now realized how much I've missed. Next week we've got our first competition in a while. I lean with my arms on the fence just watching him run around and eating some grass when I suddenly feel a hand on my back. I look next to me and see Lando. “Hey!” I smile and hug him “Sorry I was staring at Autumn I didn't know you were here already” I chuckle “Hey, it's alright. No worries” He smiles and pulls away. “How's the training going?” He nods at Autumn. “It's going well, I think our next competition we're gonna do well” I smile and nod.
We're in the car and I still don't know where we're going. After 30 more minutes in the car we arrive at the parking area. I get out of the car and so does Lando. “Alright follow me” He smiles and grabs my hand. I follow him and look around. “Wait! We're at the beach?” I smile and chuckle “Yes We definitely are” He chuckles and we go down to the beach. “Oh I would absolutely love to come here with Autumn one day” I smile as Lando drops the blanket. We both sit down on it and start unpacking the picnic basket.
After sitting, eating and talking for a little while Lando looks at me “Sarah?” I look at him “Yeah?” I smile “I eh, I've really had such a great time the past months and everything we did together. And I really hope you feel the same way, but I think you do. And I really, really like you. And you're beautiful, and you really have your heart in the right place” He smiles nervously “I feel the same way about you Lando” I nod and smile “You do? Actually I'm not surprised, you're quite obvious” He laughs “Am I really?” I pout “Yeah a little” He chuckles. “But the point I was getting to.. Do you wanna be my girlfriend?” I look at him “Is that even a question?” I chuckle “Of course I'd say yes to that” I chuckle and hug him, I close my eyes as Lando wraps his arms back around me.
We talk about so much deeper stuff then usual and I'm cuddled up in Lando's arms as we're laying down. “Would you ever wanna ride horses together?” I look at him “Maybe one day” He chuckles. “Okay I'll take that answer. Can I do our next date though?” I chuckle “Yes sure” He chuckles. We take a few pictures together
“I don't think I'm ready to tell everyone yet. Like, I'm mostly pointing at the fans” I say softly “I know there's gonna be haters and I just wanna keep our relationship for us a little longer and figure this entire thing out. If that's okay for you?” I look at him “Yes that's okay, and we don't have to make anything official to the fans or anything. It's not their business” He nods. “No I know, but people are already speculating about it and stuff. And they'll probably find out anyway. Like. I don't know. But I really like that picture with our hands. Can I post that one maybe? I won't tag you or anything. I don't even know what caption I'll use but I don't think people will figure out it's you just by your one hand” I ramble. Lando sits up. “Sarah calm down. It's okay, you can post that picture, and yes people will probably find out but that's their problem not ours. It's not their business and we can keep it private for now and probably keep most of it private in the future too” He reassures me. “Thank you Lando” I smile softly
I'm back home waiting till Emma will come to my house. We already decided on having a sleepover after the date tonight. She would be here around 10.30 pm. It's now 10 pm. I grab my phone and decide to post the picture of our hands. Lando was okay with it.

I guess the speculations aren't as bad as expected this time. I hear someone come up the stairs. That's probably Emma. She comes into my room and squeals “Oh my god Sarah! You did it!” She runs over to me and hugs me “Congratulations!” “Thank you Em” I smile big and hug her back.
