Chapter 10

Jay decided he wouild leave after he was sure things were more tame.
He decides to stay with Jungwon until he fell asleep.

Which proved itself to be a challenge. At first Jungwon wouildn't sleep, he almost rejected the idea entirely.

In response Jay snuggled up near the him

"It's ok Jungwon, I won't let anyone hurt you, so please just rest" Jay said as he softly held Jungwon.

Eventually Jungwon started to drift off.

Jay sat on the bed comfortably, taking  notice of the younger's soft breaths.

Jay had to admit Jungwon's warmness made him feel at home.

'He looks kind of'
'Cute?'

Jay ended up staying with Jungwon until around four am, finally deciding to part ways with the younger boy.

He had to get home eventually.
School was tomorrow and he'd prefer to attend it half alive. He just hoped his parents weren't home.

If they were they'd murder him for comming back so late.

Hense the going back 'half alive' part.

As he was about to leave he tried to find Ryujin; Yet she was no were to be seen.

"Is she serious? What a joke

Jay said under his breath, agitated the girl's imaturity.

'She can't at least bother to stay with him just for the rest of the night?'

It was time for him to lead himself out. As he started walking through the kitchen, he saw a silhouette in the distance.

As he got closer, their he saw Jungwon's mother weeping silently on their family couch.

he was tired, and to be frank he wasn't in any mood to deal with Miss Yang's shenanigan's. Especially this late at night.

Jay always put up a tough exterior around everyone, especially around Jungwon.

but if he was gonna be completely honest Miss Yang gave him the creeps

Sure she was Beautiful, you had to be an idiot if you denied it.

She was gorgeous, she was nearing her mid fourty's and looked as if she hadn't aged a day after thirty.

but if you took time to notice, her deep set eye's almost gave it entirely away.

You couild tell Miss Yang was filled with stress. and that stress unfortunately aged her up just the slightest.

To be honest he rembered plenty of things. He rembered when Jungwon's mother used to be better.

It was hard to explain but she was definitely better off, atleast mentally back then.

It seemed as if the older she got the more she lost herself. He remembered her bright aurora,

She had this energy that pulled anyone in. She was that type of person, in away Jay used to look up to her more then his own mother.

It was hard to belive how much she fell off the grid since then.

If he was completely honest she resembled Jungwon quite alot, they definitely looked related.

His train of thought became disrupted when he finally realized

'In order for him to leave the house he wouild have to walk past the living room'

'Past that couch'

The living room were Jungwon's mom sat in silence; in an almost dark room crying softly.

"You got to be kidding me" Jay almost face palmed himself.

"Who's that?" She said softly after hearing a small creak approach her.

Jay froze

"Jungwon.."

No reply

"Ryujin...?"

Once again nothing; nothing but thick silence.

Silence that filled the air

"Jay.."

"Jay?"

"Jay, I know it's you"

Everything from their on felt like a blur.

It was as if he went Blank.

He only rembered Jungwon's mothers slight weeps.

"You won't reply"

"Why won't you reply?"

"I promise I'm not bad"

"I'm good.."

"right?"

Jay was quiet he didn't dare to speak, once again he was distraught.

"Jay look after Jungwon" Miss yang said, as she finally, semi got ahold of herself.

"make sure he's safe and happy, sometimes, I can't.." she silently fazed off onto another sentence, not daring to finish the previous one.

"Just know I'm trying my best"

"Now please go"

"Go home"

"Go to your mother"

"Leave".

Jay bolted to the door, he was almost out of breath by the time he reached the outdoors.

he was off to his house. To his bed, he was gonna try to  make the most out of what was left of the tiring night.
