RECAP

Ellie Chavez, a celebrity and businesswoman who got married to a stranger named Zach Montgomery, overnight, after Daniel left her on their wedding day.
The second Zach laid eyes on Ellie, he knew that she is the one, so he continued pursuing her despite of Ellie's rage when she found out about their one night together.

Later, Ellie got trapped in a scandal, forcing her to marry the man who almost raped her. She got no other choice but to reveal that she's already married to Zach Montgomery and halt their Divorce agreement. She asked Zach to pretend as a married couple with her and Zach's only condition is that she must live with him as his wife.

Months have passed, after going through so many ups and downs, Ellie eventually fell in love with Zach and got pregnant with his but later she received a divorce agreement preventing her to have full custody of the child. Her rage cause her to lose her child's life so she left and disappear from the public eye for good.

CHAPTER 1

(Author's POV)

Zach finally found Ellie after 5 years, but he realizes that he's too late because she's about to get married to Daniel again. Only if he was a bit early, and only if the pandemic didn't hold him back then he should've fixed everything while he still can.

"Pinagbigyan na kita sa gusto mo, sana hindi mo na ako guguluhin, I'm happy with my life now," Ellie said begging Zach to let her go after he convinced her to be his tour guide while staying in Krabi Island for two days at least and Zach saw her desperation to be free from him. It hurts him but he realizes that loving someone doesn't always mean that you must have them by your side. Sometimes if letting the other person go is the only way for him to find his own happiness, that's also a form of love.

"I understand." he simply said, turning his back from Ellie at bumalik na sa room nya.

Sobrang bigat ng pakiramdam nya knowing that it will be the last moment with Ellie but he doesn't want to hinder her happiness either, even if it's Daniel.

Pagbalik sa kwarto, Zach felt really weak and tired. He immediately took off his shirt to take a shower, but before that, someone suddenly knocked on the door kaya lumabas ulit sya to check who's knocking and unexpectedly, it was Ellie.

"I forgot to give your wallet back, sorry," she said and Zach almost forgot about it kaya agad nya itong kinuha but he suddenly felt dizzy.

"What's wrong?" She asked after Zach took his wallet.

"I'm fine, I'm just tired" tipid niyang sagot and headed back in, but he suddenly tripped and fell on the floor.

Ellie got worried and immediately helped him up, "Hey! Are you okay?" She asked but Zach's head is spinning.

"You're burning up!" She said touching his forehead and she remembers that they had been soaked in the rain last night.

She helped him up at pinaupo sa couch and she turned off the air conditioner.

"What are you doing?" Zach asked.

"Aalis din ako, after this," she said and her kindness make Zach confused.

While waiting for the water to warm up, hinalungkat nya ang maleta ni Zach at nahanap ang medicine kit na laging dala ni Zach tuwing may business trip sya. Ellie never forgot about it and Zach's wavers again.

"You should leave" pag-iinsist nya kay Ellie.

"I will after I made sure that you take your meds," she said but he's afraid that he can't hold himself back.

"Why are you doing this Ell?" Zach confusedly asked her again.

Ellie continues to prepare the tea and medicine for Zach, "You need my help and I can't just leave you like that."

"But I didn't ask you," he said but Ellie insisted on helping him.

Ilang sandali, hindi na makapagpigil si Zach, he is tempted at the moment dala narin sa sobrang pagkasabik nya kay Ellie.

"You know Elle, there's another way to get rid of my sickness," he said approaching Ellie, then she was cornered by him and unable to move.

"What are you doing?" she asked but he didn't bother to answer, instead he just pressed his lips into hers.

Ellie struggles to push him but Zach is stronger than her at hindi na sya makapanlaban pa as Zach continued kissing her passionately.

Ilang sandali, Zach suddenly stop and wonder why Ellie isn't fighting back anymore. He looked into her eyes with desperation and said " I really love you, Elle, I still do."

Ellie's worried about what may happen next but she just locked her eyes into him and pulled him back to kiss him again.

Even though Ellie hated Zach so much, but she cannot deny that she once loved Zach, more than she love Daniel before. Zach left a huge scar in her heart and 5 years isn't enough to heal her pain.

When Ellie woke up, she's wearing Zach's shirt but the room is empty and no traces of Zach at all.

Ellie changed her clothes at agad hinanap si Zach sa resort.

"Nel, have you seen our guest from room 214?" Ellie asked.

"Mr. Montgomery you mean?" she asked at napatango lang si Ellie.

"He already left khun... but he left something for you," she said and took the envelope that Zach left for her.

Ellie immediately opens the envelope na naglalaman nang kanilang  divorce agreement and has a little note with it saying...

*Letting you go is the right thing to do. I love you, Ellie. -Zach*

Her heart crushes as Zach once again disappoints her. Kung kelan pa na handa na si Ellie to give their love another chance, tsaka naman sumuko si Zach.
