(Author's POV)
Hours have passed pero wala parin si Ellie. Tumataas na ang sikat ng araw and the guest are already confused as to why the bride has not yet shown up at nakaramdam nadin ng gutom ang iba kaya si Pim ay mas minabuting ihatid na sa reception ang mga bisita.
Daniel silently waited even though he expected this to happen. It hurts so much that what he anticipated came true, but he still hoped that she would come. Napaupo nalang si Daniel as he took the wedding ring out of his pocket while looking at the horizon.
Meanwhile, Pim informed Ellie that the wedding is finally off pero si Daniel ay naghihintay parin sakanya sa dalampasigan kaya naisipan ni Ellie na mas mabuting harapin nya na ngayon si Daniel para kausapin.
Pumunta si Ellie sa dalampasigan kung saan dapat gaganapin ang kasal, dala ang regalong binigay sakanya ni Daniel. Agad nya naman syang nakita na mag-isang naghihintay doon.
"You shouldn't have waited, you should have left" aniya at napalingon naman si Daniel sakanya then he saw that she's still wearing the wedding dress and he felt that he was being ridiculed.
"I guess I no longer knew how to do that," he smirked at umupo naman si Ellie sa tabi niya.
"I'm sorry Daniel, hindi ko na dapat pinaabot sa ganito." panimula ni Ellie.
"Why are you apologizing now?" He sarcastically said.
"I'm truly grateful for your love, b-but I can't marry you Daniel,... I- I love you pero... hindi na tulad ng dati, I-i can't reciprocate the love you gave me... Pero sinubukan ko naman,... I convinced myself that I love you... p-pe-pero pinagloloko ko lang pala ang sarili ko and I can't do that to you, I don't wanna lie to you,... pero ang dami ko nang nililihim sayo" paliwanag ni Ellie.
"Mukhang wala talaga akong laban kay Zach, you really love him so much" he said at nabigla naman si Ellie sa sinabi niya.
"I know what's going on between you two pero tumahimik lang ako, I pretended that everything's fine... Fon sent me photos of her outreach program because I sponsored it,... then I happened to see your pictures together, I didn't see you smile like that with me," he said as his tears started walling up.
"I-i ignore it kasi sobrang mahal kita, inintindi ko yun ...and still hoping that at the end of the day ako parin yung pipiliin mo, yung pakakasalan mo," dagdag pa niya but he was wrong.
Naiyak naman si Ellie ng malaman na alam na pala ni Daniel lahat and he's been observing her for a long time.
"I'm really sorry Daniel" sagot nalang ni Ellie at nagpipigil na humahulgol ng iyak.
"Ang saya lang isipin that we are even now," Daniel said while reminiscing about how he left Ellie before sa araw din ng kasal nila.
"Ang sakit pala maiwanan, kaya mas pinagsisihan ko ang ginawa ko noon, I shouldn't have left you, hindi mo na sana nakilala si Zach, ako parin sana ang mahal mo, hindi sana nangyayari to at hindi kana dapat nagdudusa ng ganito. I was selfish back then," Dagdag pa niya na sinisisi ang sarili.
"I'm really sorry Daniel" sagot ulit ni Ellie as she took off her engagement ring at sinauli ito sakanya with the diamond necklace.
His heart crumbled as his tear continued to burst.
"You have nothing to apologize Ell, It was all my fault dahil pinagpilitan ko parin na magiging tayo sa huli even though I know he's still the one you love," he said at napayakap naman si Ellie sakanya.
"Thank you for loving me Daniel" aniya at humiwalay naman si Daniel ng pagkayakap sakanya at agad napatayo sa inuupuan.
"I hope that you'll never see him again nor meet anyone who will love you as much as I do." he cruelly said and Ellie burst into tears after Daniel finally left.
