(Ellie's POV)
Hindi naging madali sa akin ang lahat ng nangyari lalo na sa pagitan namin ni Zach, yet I'm grateful to him dahil kung hindi dahil sakanya, wala ding Chris and Chloe sa buhay ko ngayon eventhough I still hate him pero wala namang papupuntahan yung galit nayun kundi mamumuo lang ulit ng gulo.
Kapag nalaman nya that my marriage is fake, I'm sure he'll mock me at kapag nalaman nya din ang tungkol sa mga bata, I'm sure he'll fight for their custody again. Ayokong maulit ang nangyari kay Ali. I don't want my kids to go through that, they're too young kaya titiisin ko nalang na makipagplastikan for my their sake.
Nang maihanda na ang hapunan, agad naman akong bumaba kasama ang mga bata. Nakaupo nadin silang lahat sa mesa kaya umupo narin kami ng mga bata pero bigla bumaba si Chloe and insisted to sit with Zach.
"Chloe, don't be naughty with uncle, we have to eat first" sabi ko't agad naman syang binuhat ni Drake at pinaupo sa pagitan nilang dalawa ni Zach.
"It's okay Ellie, she'll be fine with us, diba Zach?" Sagot pa ni Drake and I saw how my daughter cling her arm with Zach.
"Of course, it's fine" simpleng sagot naman ni Zach.
I couldn't help it, it pains me seeing them together kaya tumahimik nalang ako at umupo para makapagsimula na kaming kumain.
Habang sinusubuan ko si Chris, nagsimula namang nagsalita si Dad and he want's me to take over his posistion as VP of the company. Although this is so sudden, I also expected it.
"What do you think, Ellie?" he asked but running my hotel is far more different than running a Corporation.
"I'm not sure if I could handle it Dad, bakit hindi nalang si Drake? he just earned his Master's degree in Business administration, didn't he?" sagot ko at agad namang tumanggi si Drake.
"Nope, no way, I already did my best to assist Dad, and the board insisted na ikaw ang magiging VP, they still don't trust me after I flunked my company before," paliwanag ni Drake at mukhang may sense nga yung sinabi nya.
Kahit gustuhin nya kung wala namang tiwala ang board sakanya, bale wala din yun.
"Dad, I already have a life in Thailand, I can't just abandon it" paliwanag ko pa.
"I know, I know and I'm not asking you to abandon it, just until Drake is ready to take over," he said but Drake strongly disagreed.
"Dad, ayoko nga diba? and I want to establish my own winery," he said at saan nya naman kaya nakuha ang idea ng winery?
"Winery? you don't even have your own vineyard" sagot ko pa.
"Dyan ka nagkakamali, Zach is going to be my partner," he said with confidence at napatitig naman ako Zach.
"Ahmm... We already talked about it, pero wala pa namang kasiguraduhan" sagot nya naman
"Right, and I know I can do it?" tanong pa niya kay Zach.
"Well, Let me see your proposal first," Zach said at agad naman umatras yung yabang ni Drake.
"Yan yung pag-aaralan ko pa, I wanna make sure that I won't flunked this time" He said.
"So ano na Ellie?" Dad asked me again at mukhang hindi na ako makakahindi because Drake seemed serious about his plan.
"I'm not sure if I can do this well pero susubukan ko" sagot ko nalang.
"Don't worry, I asked Zach to be your consultant, I just hoped that you and Daniel wouldn't mind," dagdag pa nya't napatingin naman ako kay Zach as he was also looking at me.
