Michael's POV:
I woke up around one in the afternoon, noticing that my head was resting on y/n's lap. We were in the exact same position that I remembered falling asleep in. She must not have been able to lift me off of her.
I got out of bed, and walked over to her side. I helped lay her down to what seemed like a more comfortable position. With that, I stretched and headed out of the room to get ready for the day.
I walked out and saw Ennard and Lolbit standing in the hallway talking to each other. They turned my way once they saw me.
"Well look who finally decided to wake up," Ennard teased.
"Shut up," I groaned. "I went to bed at 4:00, give me a break."
"Where's y/n?" Lolbit wondered.
"Still asleep in there," I told her, pointing to the guest bedroom. She smirked.
"Aww, she was with you?" I rolled my eyes at her, deciding not to answer. Instead I went to get ready for the day.
Once I was finished, I headed downstairs to get something to eat. I was enjoying my food in peace when I was interrupted by my phone ringing. Without checking who was calling, I quickly answered and put my phone up to my ear. But before I could even say hello, I heard yelling.
"Michael! Where are you?!"
Oh, crap. It was my dad.
"Dad? What are you calling me for?" I asked.
"What am I calling you for? What kind of a question is that?! You haven't come home for over a day!" he yelled.
"Dad, calm down. I'm just at y/n's house," I assured him.
"For a whole day?! I've tried calling you multiple times, but you haven't answered even once!"
"Dad, I'm an adult now, you can't be in control of me all the time. Let me do what I want to do," I said, getting slightly frustrated.
"As long as you're living in my house, I'm in charge of you!"
"No, dad," I stopped him. "I'm nineteen years old, I'm allowed to do what I want! I would move out if you gave me the chance, but you haven't! Stop barging in on my life all the time!"
"You have no right to talk to me like that, Michael!"
"Actually, dad, you shouldn't be talking to me like that!" I shot back. "Stop treating me like a kid, I'm an adult now! I'm allowed to live my own life without you trying to ruin it all the time!"
"Michael, you-"
"I'm done talking about this," I interrupted.
"Michael!"
"Bye, dad."
"Michael, don't you dare hang up on m-" I hung up the phone before he could finish his sentence. I sighed and laid back in my seat once he was off the line. Within a couple of seconds, I saw y/n walking slowly into the kitchen. I turned to fully look at her.
"Y/n...? You didn't hear any of that, did you?" I asked. She nodded slowly.
"I'm sorry, Michael..."
"It's okay. It's not your fault," I sighed. She pulled out the chair next to me and took a seat.
"That was... brave of you," she muttered.
"Thanks," I said, sheepishly.
Things were quiet at first, but then I finally spoke up. I was hesitant, but I had to.
