Willows POV:

"One more period until lunch," I groan, rubbing my eyes.

"You'll make it," chuckles Noah.

"I hope so," I sigh, patting my stomach. "I'm hungry."

I had language arts which is my favourite subject in school, and luckily I had my best friend in my class. The teacher was also Mrs. Pebbles, I know an odd name, but she was literally the best of the best. She's so sweet and bubbly, but pushes us to our creative limits.

"Ms. Skyes I see that you're in my class again. Happy to see you," Mrs. Pebbles smiles.

"I'm glad I got you as my teacher again," I beam.

We talk for a few minutes then the bell for class rings, and she heads to the front of the room. There was an empty seat behind Noah, and I wondered who was missing from our class.

"Well since this is the first day I—"

She then stops talking. Her eyes look to the door, which makes everyone follow. I look back as well to see the new guy in his oversized black hoodie, and pants walk in.

All the girls started chattering, giggling to each other as the guy took the empty seat. As soon as he sat down I could feel his gaze on me. I didn't turn around because I was trying to avoid eye contact with him. I don't know why he was staring at me but it lowkey made me uncomfy.

"Thank you for joining us. Care to introduce yourself to the class?"

"Flynn," was all he said, finally taking his eyes off me.

"Okay Flynn, my name is Mrs. Pebbles and I hope you adjust well to this school. You're new right?" She asks in a genuine manner.

"Yes ma'am. I'm new," he says quietly.

"Where did you go before coming here?" Asks a nasally voiced girl.

"I was homeschooled," he says, barely audible.

"I hope you adjust well," smiles Mrs. Pebbles. "Now back to LA. First I'll go over the curriculum we will be learning about this year."

All the girls were leaning over to talk to him, but he just kept silent. I sneaked a few glances at him, noticing his prominent jawline, and striking brown eyes. His face looked as though he had serious things going on in his mind, and he was trying so desperately to find a solution. He looked lost.

"Willow?" Whispers Noah.

"Yeah?" I whisper back.

"10 more minutes until it's lunch," he says.

"Let's go!" I whisper excitedly.

Noah snickers lightly before turning his focus back to the front. I don't know why this dude was laughing because I really was hungry!
