Flynn's POV:

"How was your day today?" Asks my mother, looking in the rusted fridge for something to eat.

Nothing.

"Do you want me to go food shopping?" I ask.

"No honey, it's fine. I'll do it," she says.

Hannah then walks in with the largest frown on her face. She was almost a mere copy of my mother. Mom had short hair however, while Hannah had long.

As Hannah is huffing, and puffing I wonder what had got her annoyed this time. Don't get me wrong, I love my sister, but like... ya no. She's a brat.

"Mom, where's my dress!" She shrieks, stomping in place.

"Sorry sweetheart. I wasn't able to get it today," my mother says holding back the tiredness of her voice. "I'll get it tomorrow."

"But I want it now!" She cries. "I know dad would get it for me!"

"Shut up," I say, glaring at her. "Just shut the fuck up for once in you life Hannah."

"Hey Flynn, that wasn't nice," says mother.

"Yeah Flynn. Apologize," she says in a mocking tone.

"Apologize?" I scoff.

This week has been hell for me. I have been struggling more then usual to get by today, and Hannah was not helping.

I then walk up to Hannah, with a glass of hot tea in my hand. She was still looking at me with that obnoxious look on her face.

"Don't make me throw this on you," I say, raising my cup. "Because today I'll do it."

Hannah takes many forced steps back before looking at mother.

"Take your pills Flynn," mother says. "Please."

"Fine," I sigh, brushing past Hannah, and into the bathroom.

I set the cup down, and take a deep breath. I thought I was getting better. I stopped taking my pills because of my uplifting change of mood. Sadly all hell has broken loose inside of my mind, and I have gone back to feeling helpless, and lost.

My shaky hands reach for the wooden cabinet for my pill bottle.

I grab it, reading 'escitalopram' on the paper.

My stomach begins to churn. Holding the pill in your mouth was the worst part.

I take another deep breath then place the pill on my tongue, waiting for it to dissolve in my mouth, so I can then swallow it with my saliva.

Disgusting.

The drug I take, escitalopram, is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor class drug that basically helps restore lost serotonin in my brain.
