Chapter 3

Jay's P.O.V

We all had eat our breakfast and were now just all sat around the table just chatting. I was sat between Max and Nathan, Siva was at the far end of the table next to Nathan, then Shannon, Mrs Parker and then Tom. I could sense awkwardness!

Siva's P.O.V

Everyone was just talking after eating breakfast. I looked over to Jay who seemed too be acting a bit weird. He looked up to look at me and smiled. I don't think I was the only one sensing the awkwardness.

Nathan's P.O.V

I looked up from my plate to look at Shannon. God she's beautiful! She was wearing a black vest top, with high waisted combat shorts. Her hair was pulled up into a high pony tale, her make up? Well to be honest I don't know if she is wearing any, if she is she's wearing it naturally, hardly any! I don't think she even needs make up, she us stunning with out it.

As I looked up from my plate I caught her gaze in mine. I looked straight at her before smiling and looking back down. I could feel myself blush. Why was she so pretty? Tom would NEVER let me go out with her though!

Just as everyone stood up the phone rang and Toms mum ran through the hall to reach and answer it. I picked up all the plates and cups, just as I was about to pick up Shannon's, she did the same causing our hands to touch. I smiled to myself and pulled my hand away.

"Tom!! Shannon!!" Mrs Parker called from the hall. Tom walked out the living room and Shannon walked out the kitchen to meet her.

"My boss just phoned saying she needed me in work so I'll be home later on tonight, possibly 11 or half 11." I heard their mum say to them and with that the front door opened before Mrs Parker disappeared for work. I carried on doing what I was doing so it didn't look like I was listening to their conversation before.

"Nathan you don't have to clean up, I'll do it" Shannon said taking the plates and cups off of me and placing them on the sink.

"No, I'll help" I smiled at her. I walked over to the sink, rolling up my sleeves, lifting Shannon up so I could get to the basin full of hot soapy water.

"Nathan, put me down" she laughed

"Nope I'm good thanks" I said winking at her while tickling her sides.

"No! Please stop Nath, it's sore" she yelped as I carried on tickling her. As soon as she mentioned it was sore I instantly pulled away, looking at her confused and worried.

"Why's it sore?" I asked calmly, pushing a strand of hair from her face and tucking it behind her ear. Just as I was about to cup her face with my hands Tom walked in, I pulled my hand away from Shannon's face and stepped back still looking at Shannon. She gave me the look telling me she would tell me later. I know I've only just properly met her today I have fallen madly in love with her. I know I said I never believed in live at first site but there was something different about her, she's sweet, sensitive, kind, caring and beautiful. If anyone had or has hurt her I will hunt them down! She doesn't deserve to be treated like shit! And I know if Tom ever found out about why her sides hurt he would kill who ever did it to her, she means the world to him and he means the world to her. Just like what Jess is like with me...
