Chapter 11

Shannon's P.O.V

Nathan was just lying there, no movement or sound coming from him. Why the fuck did he do that back there? It shouldn't be him lying in an ambulance beaten up, it should be me! It was me they were after for! As soon as he wakes up I will have to have a word with him. But that's if he wakes up.

The ambulance had just pulled up outside the hospital. Nurses and doctors came running, crowding round Nathan's beaten and half dead body. Tears began to form in my eyes! The doctors rushed Nathan to a room where they had attached in to different mechanise with many different wires hooking up to the technical equipment around him. I stood there watching the nurses scurrying across the room finding note pads, pens and scribbling down information from the current state he was in. One man, probable not that much older than Tom walked over to me, I was dreading what he was about to say to me.

"You couldn't stand outside for us? I mean this young man isn't in a very good state and it would be easier for us to do our job properly if you were not in here." The man said placing a hand on my shoulder as he lead me to the door. I just nodded as I walked out to wait in the waiting area.

Max's P.O.V

We all jumped in to the car and raced towards the hospital. Tom was probably braking every law possible but I don't think he cared, in actual fact I don't think anyone cared as long as we got to the hospital to see if Nath and Shan were alright.

Finally after about a 15 minute drive we reached the hospital. I knew Tom wanted to see if Shannon was okay so I told him I'd take care of finding a space to park the car. They all ran straight up to redemption leaving me to find a parking space.

Nikky's P.O.V

We all rushed up to the resorption desk, trying to rub passed people with babies and other people visiting.

"Nathan Sykes! He came in not that long ago with a girl called Shannon-Nicole Parker!" Kelsey said, struggling to catch her breath.

"Room 069, in Section C. Just go through them doors and turn to your right, then make a left at the far end of the corridor and you should be there. But I'm afraid to say that Mr. Sykes is in the at the moment so you will have to wait at the waiting area located outside his room" the old lady told us as she pointed to a pair of blue large double doors on her left. We smiled before rushing to Nathan's room.

I heard a snicker from behind me so I turned to look at Jay.

"What you laughing at McGuiness?" I asked as I grabbed his hand and followed the others.

"Just find it funny, Nathan's in room 69!" He laughed. I shook me head as we reached the waiting area outside Nathan's room.

"Where's Shannon?" I asked looking around the waiting area. Everyone did the same before shrugging their shoulders.

Just as I started to get comfy Shannon walked round the corner, her eyes all red and puffy, they still had a lot of tears escaping them. The girls and I ran up to her, pulling her into a hug.

"This is going to be along day and possibly night." I sighed to myself.
