Chapter 13

*Nathan's POV*

My body was stiff, I couldn't feel myself move. I appended to lift my arm but it wouldn't budge. What the hell happened? I can't remember a thing, okay that's a lie! I remember being attacked by this large group. They attacked Shannon first, I couldn't stand and watch them, I had to do something. so I jumped in, taking the blows of the punches and kicks. After that my whole body shut down and my eyes closed, pitch back surrounded me. I was cold yet I could hear Shannon calling my name then the sound of the paramedics, after that it was gone, I could hear nothing.

I attempted to open my eyes instead of lifting my arm since I may not have the energy to do that. I couldn't manage this simple task. I tried again and that's when I felt her warm hands cup my face and her soft lips against my cold skin.

"Please Nath, you've been out for days. I haven't left your side once! Please just blink, squeeze my hand, just do anything to show my that you can hear me. Please Nathan, I beg you"

I felt her hand move to mine, she grasped it tightly and held it close to her chest. I can feel you, can hear you but I can make enough energy to show it.

"Please Nath, I need you" with that I felt a small droplet hit off my hand. I forced my self to blink or squeeze her hand. I failed. I wasn't going to stop trying, I'm going to fight to get the energy.

*Shannon's POV*

All the girls went home but the boys stayed with me at the hospital. Nathan's been out for nearly two weeks and I have never left his side. I told him everyday I was here but never got anything from him. Max and Jay both keep telling me he's a fighter and would do anything for me, and I know that. I mean he stuck up for me and jumped in front of me taking the punches. Tom never let go of me, he'd always get me to cuddle up to him. I haven't slept in weeks so he tries his best to make me get some sleep but I want to be awake all the tine incase he wakes up.

"Please Nath, you've been out for days. I haven't left your side once! Please just blink, squeeze my hand, just do anything to show my that you can hear me. Please Nathan, I beg you" I cried as I kissed his cold skin softly. I stayed in the position for a few minutes before sitting back down and clasping his hand before pulling it into my chest.

"Please Nath, I need you" I whispered as Siva wrapped his arm around me before smiling softly. I returned one.

"Like Max and Jay said, he is a fighter! I promise you! He's never give up, why? Because you've never left his side. He loves you, a lot! yeah you have only known each other for a short period but I've never seen Nath as happy as I've seen him now with you, eh boys?" they all nodded as Siva finished his sentence and a nurse entered the room.

"Just hear to do a quick check up." She smiled sweetly, I nodded my head before asking her a quick question.

"Do you know when he will wake up?"

"Nope, but I can tell you he may be able to hear you, so keep talking to him. It may give him strength to wake up" her words spun around my head. I thanked her and smiled at the boys before looking down at Nathan's lifeless cold body.

"C'mon Nath, the nurse said you might be able to hear me! Please show a sign you can, please Nathan!" I cried with hope, moments past and nothing happened. I sat back down in my seat and that's when I felt my hand been gripped tightly.

"NATHAN!! He can hear me!!" I screamed to the boys. They all shot up off their seats and crowded round the bed.

"Do it again Nathan?" My hand tightened again. A huge smile spread across my face. I looked up at Tom smiling as a small tear ran down my left cheek, he pulled me into a hug.

"Hello babe..."
