Chapter 9

Tom' P.O.V

Everyone was up and fully dressed, waiting on the girls to arrive. We had nothing planned to do which is pretty boring but I'm sure Shannon or one of the boys will think of something.

"So what are we going to do today then?" I asked looking at everyone. Just as I asked the girls walked through the door and screamed!

"SHOPPING!!"

We all laughed and Shannon nodded in agreement. Well I guess that's what we will be doing. I got up from my seat and walked over to Kelsey, placing my arms around her waist and holding her close before kissing her on cheek. The boys done the same to their girls. Siva and Nareesha, Jay and Kate, Max and Nikky.

"Will we leave now?" Nikky asked. We all nodded to say yes, picking up the items we may need and headed out the door. As we reached the car I noticed a small problem.

"Em, there is a slight problem" I laughed, turning to look at the rest if the group. They all looked at me asking me what was the problem.

"Well, the car only holds 8 people and there are 10 of us" I stated.

"That's okay, I can walk" Shannon jumped in straight away.

"Same here" Nathan said looking at me. I smiled at them both before telling them the name if the shopping centre we were heading to before hopping into the car and driving to our destination.

Nathan's P.O.V

I looked at Shannon, grabbing her hand so we were walking down the street hand in hand. I was falling for this girl hard and fast! She was everything a boy wanted in a girl.

"So when you going to tell Tom or your mum about the attack?" I said still holding on to her hand.

"I don't know, I'm not sure if I want to tell them" she said placing her head on my shoulder. I just nodded, not really knowing what to say. We turned the corner and that's when I saw a large group of people, mostly boys but there were still a few girls mixing in-between them. Shannon notice them and her hand gripped tightened around mine, it felt like she was going to crush ever bone in my hand but that's when it clicked! They were the people that attacked her not that long ago. I tightened my grip around her hand to comfort her. She looked up at me scared. I bent down to whisper something in her ear.

"They aren't going to touch you, not when I'm here. If they do I'll lay into then okay?" I said, she laughed a little at the last part before whispering back to me.

"Nathan, you can't hurt a fly so if rather I got hurt and not you" I was socked at what she had just said. I would rather be hurt than see hut be in pain! She doesn't deserve any of this. Still holding her hand I began to walk to the shopping centre we were going to meaning we had to pass these people. She tenses as soon as we got closer to them. They began shouting at her one tried tripping her up, pushing, spitting at her and punching her. It was disgusting I couldn't put up with it any longer. That's when I flipped! I turned and began to shout at them, jut roaring out every name under the sun at them!

That's when it all happened, a punch was thrown in my direction. He had hit my right in the face several amount of times I could feel blood trickling from my nose, my eye throbbing due to the blow from his fist. I could feel the bruises forming already, but it was worth it! I stood up for a girl I love and I've never done that before. She means everything to me and if I just let her get hurt I'd hate to think what Tom would do to me if he found out I watched her getting beat up.
