Chapter 16

Tom's POV

Shannon stayed at the hospital again with Nath last night. I don't know if I liked the fact one of my band mates and best mates is trying to sleep with my baby sister but I guess it really isn't up to me. She's 18 soon and after what Nathan done for her a few weeks back I recon he would treat her right. I'll have to think about it, but so far I'm okay with it.... Slightly...

I wrapped the covers closer around me and Kelsey, getting ourselves warmer. I removed my phone from under my pillow, only 10:15 am. Management didn't want us back in a rush, well we weren't planning on going back as soon as Nathan woke up. We will probably wait for a couple of days. I was just about to tuck my phone back under my pillow as it rang.

"Who is it?" Kelsey asked turning to look at me with tiered eyes.

"Shannon, wonder why she's phoning me at this time." I asked worried. "Could it be Nath?"

Kelsey shock her head. "Of course not, just quickly answer it! And Tom it's quarter past ten in the morning not bloody quarter past three." She laughed as she flopped herself back over to her previous position. I chuckled before pressing 'accept' and holding it up to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Aw I-I didn't mean to wake you."

"You didn't sis, everything okay?"

"Yeah, I was just wondering if you or someone could come and pick us up?" She asked politely.

"Us?" I questioned

"Yeah, Nath and I? The nurse said he should be fine to go home but he needs to rest and get back into his routine steadily." She finished.

"Sure be there in twenty okay!" I quickly hopped out my bed after hanging up. I rushed around the room finding clean underwear and clothes. My phone buzzed again.

'1 new message' I clicked the message box to see who it was sent from.

'Sent: Shaun<3

Hey take your time, we need to sign a few things and he isn't the fastest of walkers right now. Love you!!xx'

I chugged once more, placing my phone in my back pocket and walking over to Kels.

"Going off to collect Shannon and Nath from the hospital, be back shortly." I whispered while placing a soft gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Nath's coming home?" She asked smiling. I nodded before giving her a quick kiss and leaving to head to the hospital.

Shannon's POV

I know I told hi to take his time but that's taking the piss!! It's been 20 minutes!! I looked over at Nathan who had just put on some clean cloths.

"You're looking a lot fresher!" I laughed as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He chucked before trying to get up off the bed.

"Hold on to me if need be." I pointed out moving back slightly to allow him to get up.

"I'll manage, anyway is probably hurt you if I done that." I shock my head, standing in front of him and taken both of his hands in mine before gently helping him up.

"Here I'll help!" I turned to see to heading towards us. He wrapped one arm around Nathan's torso as he pulled him up off of the bed. "There you go" I smiled at him.

"The forms all done and signed?" Tom asked picking up a few backs. I nodded as I pulled a wheelchair from the bathroom in the ward next to Nathan.

"I'm not leaving in that! I can walk!!" He ranted. Both Tom and I laughed as we tried to help Nathan sit down on it.

"Nathan, you're just getting better! You're so slow at getting up off the bed you lazy shit. I'd hate to see how slow you are at walking from here to the car mate!" I laughed quietly at Tom's comment before pushing Nathan out the ward. As we walked down the corridors Nathan, Tom and I all thanked nurses and doctors as we past. I'm so glad he was coming home. I don't think I could spend another night sharing a single rock hard bed. I bet Nathan can not wait to hop back into his own bed.
