Chapter 4 The Ministry

When he woke up the next day sun was shining through the window, the first time he could remember.

He paniced a bit when he saw the hour, it was the longest he had ever slept, he remembered what had happened yesterday that he was taken away by his abusive relatives and calmed down.

Just then the door opened and he saw Ginny standing there. When she saw him awake she run over and jumped on him, he emitted a groan when she landed.

"Good Morning sleepy head" she said while hugging him

"Morning, this was by far the best morning I had in my life till now" he said hugging her back for the first time.

She was surprised at his gesture he had hugged her back without her saying anything.

"Want some breakfast mum kept some warm for you" she said jumping from him and taking his hand in hers and tugging at it.

He stood up from the bed without letting go of her hand and walked after when she began tugging his hand to go down.

They arrived shortly after in the kitchen were Mrs Weasley was eating after all her children finished.

"Good Morning Harry dear, I here some breakfast for you" said Mrs Weasley he sat down and ate his first ever complete meal.

"How did you sleep Harry?" asked Ginny

"The best I ever had, it was a hundred times better than sleeping in a cupboard" answered

"That's really good, what are we going to do today?" asked Ginny

"Today nothing important but tomorrow, Harry and you are going to the ministry with your father for Harry's custody, while I stay with the boys here who would make trouble maybe Percy wants with you he wants to work in the ministry" said Mrs Weasley

While Harry ate the delicious breakfast and talking to Ginny Mrs Weasley went to Percy's room to ask him. She knocked on his door and he answered she entered.

"Yes mother, I'm doing my homework" he said turning in his seat

"Harry and Ginny are going to the ministry tomorrow for Harry's guardianship, maybe you want to go along and see how the ministry works?" asked Mrs Weasley

"Yes, thanks. But why does Ginevra come with?" asked Percy

"Have you seen them they are really fond of each other, Harry never had someone who cared for him after his parents died and Ginny was probably to openly care for him" said Mrs Weasley

"Understandable, have a nice day mother I need to return to my homework now" he said turning back in his chair

Mrs went back down to see how the boys were doing, she had them degnome the garden.

When she saw that they weren't doing anything while gnomes were still in the garden.

"Boys! No slacking of I have my eyes on you" she said sternly loud enough for them to hear her, when she looked at other part of the garden she saw Harry and Ginny sitting talking and doing shenanigans, it was good for him to be able to be a normal child.

The next morning Harry woke up earlier then the day before and walked out of his room and saw Ginny with bed hair coming out of her room.

Her fiery red hair stuck to her face while in other places it stood up against her head.

While not forgetting his abuse he had begun to be more cheerful then ever in his live, but he would still need an psychologist.

"Morning Ginny" said Harry
