Chapter 10 Lying Danger

The next morning when Harry woke up he prepared for the day and went down to the common room to find Ginny and Hermione talking there.

"Hi you two" said Harry

"Do you know if Ron as arrived?" asked Hermione

"He wasn't in the dorms so I guess he isn't" said Harry sitting down next to them

"Okay, breakfast is in ten minutes are you both ready?" she asked

"Yes" they both answered at the same time making giggle an Hermione roll her eyes

When it was time they went to breakfast, with them telling what they did over the summer.

They told them about Harry's new room, how he learned to swim, about Dobby and the diary.

They arrived at breakfast and began eating, after a bit McGonagall was giving out the timetables.

"Professor, do you know something about Ron?" asked Hermione

"I do not we have already sent an owl to Mr and Mrs Weasley and I talked to your oldest brother here if he knew something he doesn't either" said McGonagall and continued to give out time tables

After eating breakfast they showed Ginny and Luna their way to transfiguration while they had charms.

There still was no sign of Ron when they arrived at charms classroom. Soon enough they entered and had class.

Meanwhile Dumbledore had been talking with Lockhart when McGonagall came in.

"Albus, the Weasleys are in my office I need you to come with me" she said

"Very well, I think we were finished here, I'm sure you can find out on your own" said Dumbledore going towards the door

"I do, I do I wouldn't be Gilderoy Lockhart if I don't" he answered

Dumbledore left the room closing the door behind him, gilderoy then looked around is room and found the diary

"Hmmm what's this little thing? Hmm I don't think he will miss it" he said to himself and took the diary

He went to his classroom and left it there before going to his office to check himself out in the mirror.

The bell rung but Lockhart didn't car as he didn't have class but a first year entered his room and took a look around.

She saw the diary and took it with out thinking and put it in her back before going away.

After a day of classes Ginny, Harry and Hermione were all sitting in the Great Hall when a soaking Ron entered.

McGonagall directly dragged him towards her office were he sure would get a lot of trouble.

"He's going to be in so much trouble" said Ginny

"He is" confirmed Harry

"Well at least he is safe and here now" said Hermione

Fred and George came up to the trio and sat next to them.

"Looks like out brother decided to show himself, he's probably going to get a few howlers by mum and in summer no favorite dish or som" they said at the same time

"I'm still amazed on how you two talk like at the same time" said Hermione

"That's-" began Fred

"our-" George continued

"speciality" they finished together

"Now siriously it might be a thing with twins or that we spend like 95% of the day together along other factors I guess" said Fred alone

"Very interesting, I will look for it in the library" said Hermione already having finished dinner, she stood up and went to the library

"Is she always like that?" asked Ginny with a raised eyebrows

"Yes, she is, every or nearly every day she goes to the library a few hours" answered Harry

"Hopefully she doesn't drag me into the library" said Ginny

"I will protect you" said Harry

"My hero" she said hugging his side

"Well looks-" began George

"Like our-" continued Fred

"Little sister-" George followed

"Found her Hero" they finished together

Harry and Ginny laughed before standing up.
"See ya" she said and they walked to the gryffindor common room.

The little first year girl that stole the diary from Lockhart who stole it from Dumbledore, was Amrita Purewater 
from Huffelpuff.

When she arrived in her dorm she began writing in it.

Dear diary

My name is Amrita Purewater yesterday I arrived at Hogwarts and was placed in Huffelpuff, as our defensive against the dark arts teacher we got famous and handsome Gilderoy Lockhart, im sure we are going to learn a lot in it.

Today's was the first day of classes, I had transfiguration, charms, history of magic, herbiology and potions, profesor Snape favorites his class over the others. It's really unfair.

The rest of the teachers are actually really nice, that's all for to day.

She went to close the diary but suddenly the ink seemed to sink into the book leaving the page in blank.

But something written appeared on it.

Hello Amrita Purewater, my name is Tom Riddle. Congratulations on being in Hogwarts it's a honor for every witch and wizard to be educated there.
Tell me more about that professor Snape and Lockhart.

Meanwhile in the Gryffindor Common Room, Ron entered. Harry and Ginny sprung up from the couch and went over.

"Ron what did you do after not getting the train?" asked Ginny

"I took dad's car and flew it to Hogwarts, it took longer than I expected because I didn't know how to fly it and at the end I nearly crashed into the lake. And just now mom grounded me for the next summer and McGonagall gave me detention for a month" said Ron as he went up the boys dorms.

"Well that is certainly interesting" said Harry

Both sat back down and continued talking when Hermione entered near curfew.

"Did you find anything in the library?" asked Harry

"Not about the twins but about our homework" said Hermione

"Well Ron appeared in eh great hall a few minutes after you went to the library and got in a lot of trouble with McGonagall and my Mum" said Ginny

"Well at least he's safe"
