It was the first of September and the Weasley plus Harry are running late. The twins and Ron hadn't packed their trucks.
Harry, Ginny and Percy were currently waiting for the three of them to come down.
They had celebrated both Harry's and Ginny's birthday with a lof of cake. The only one invited was Luna Lovegood who lived nearby and was friends with Ginny
While they don't have much monies they had made Harry same self made gifts. On Ginny's birthday Harry had given her a bracelet he had bought in Diagon alley.
A few moments later they heard the three going down the stairs with their trunks making a lot of noise.
"Come on boys we are running late" said Mrs Weasley they all entered the car and went to kings cross.
They went through the wall and appeared on 9 3/4 they all said theit goodbye and Ginny even kissed Harry on the cheek.
Harry and Ron sat together on the train they were later joined by Hermione. Halfway of the train ride Draco Malfoy appeared.
"It's a shame that a family like the Weasley's got the guardianship over you, they aren't a proper pureblood family can't even properly take care of their children and so poor they can't even afford proper clothes" said Malfoy
"I don't think it's a shame and I happen to like them, I don't that would have happened with your family" said Harry
Malfoy went away followed by his goons the rest of the ride was uneventful. When they arrived at Hogwarts they were told to follow a huge man to some boats.
He sat with Ron, Hermione and Nevile Longbottom. Everyone gasped at the Hogwarts scenery.
When they arrived they were let by profesor McGonagall into the Great hall were the sorting ceremony was going to be held.
Harry, Ron and Hermione were sorted into gryffindor, meanwhile Malfoy went to slytherin. Their gryffindor year mates were Nevile, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil.
They followed Percy and the other gryffindor prefects up to the gryffindor tower. They had a brief encounter with peeves but got the tower. Once they had arrived Percy told them the password and showed them their dormitories.
Later that night Harry snuck down to the common room and sat himself at a desk and began writing a letter for Ginny.
Dear Ginny
The ride to hogwarts was pleasent we meet a muggleborn girl named Hermione Granger who sat with us for the rest of the ride. Around halfway a boy named Draco Malfoy the same family who tried to get my guardianship.
He told me it's a shame that a family like yours got the guardianship over me and other insulting things, he was placed in slytherin.
We also met a boy who is with us in gryffindor, his name is Nevile longbottom. Clases begin tomorrow so I should go to bed.
