Since We Met (A Hinny Story)

Chapter 11 Second Year

The beginning of the year was pretty normal, Harry and Ginny spend most of their free time together doing homework or other stuff, Ron and Hermione also being there but bickering a few times.

Most soon saw that Lockhart was completely useless in defense against the dark arts, when he did ridiculous test about himself or flee the classroom when it went out of control.

Things became weird when on Halloween after the feast Mrs Norris was found petrified and hanging on the floor, with a warning that the chamber of secrets was opened once again.

There was seemingly no suspect as it was Filch who found his cat, the next few days people began asking teachers of ghost if they were intelligent enough.

It was now the first quidditch game of the season Gryffindor vs Slytherin, Harry was looking for the snitch when a bludger came up him that he evaded before it hit him, but that was not enough the bludger began following him around.

Fred and George came to his help but they left the chasers open to the other bludger and beaters. Harry said they should focus on the game not on him and he would manage it himself.

Harry continued to search for the snitch while evading the bludger, Malfoy taunted him that he was dancing ballet.

When he saw the snitch that was a few meters behind Malfoy, Harry made his way to him the bludger just behind him.

Draco who was still taunting Harry didn't see that he had came on his direction and was nearly knocked of his broom, Harry was followed by the bludger that narrowly missed Draco.

Harry looked around for the bludger and didn't see it before it struck his right arm, breaking it with a nasty cracking sound. But Harry continued and catched the snitch with his broken arm.

He landed and evaded the bludger a few more times before it was put out. His friends and quidditch team were by him soon after.

Lockhart was also there.

"I'm going to fix that broken arm of yours" he said pulling out his wand and 'fixed' his arm that then hanged down.

Ginny who wanted to stop Lockhart hadn't taken out her wand fast enough but had then shot the bat boogey at him.

Professor McGonagall came over and saw Harry's bone less arm before looking at Lockhart on the floor with bat looking boogeys attacking his face.

She decided that he should help himself and said to Hagrid to take Harry to the infirmary.

The quidditch team followed him to the infirmary and were around his bed when he was put on the bed. Madam Pomfrey gave him a potion and made his visitors leave.

At night Harry woke up and saw Dobby who said it was him who charmed the bludger.

A few minutes after Professor Dumbledore and McGonagall came in with Colin Creevey who was petrified.

Later that year Lockhart made an duelling club, when Harry saw who was teaching he turned around and walked away leaving Ron there unaware that Harry had left.

Harry spend his time with Ginny doing homework, talking or playing games.

A few days after the dueling club Justin Finch Fletchley was found petrified along with nearly headless Nick.

The most shocking was Hermione, they found out after quidditch was canceled.

Hagrid was also arrested for his presumed attacks like it was 50 years ago. Harry, Ron and Ginny followed his advice and followed the spiders.

Which they only escaped thanks to the flying Ford Anglia. Dumbledore was forced to leave because of the board of governors. And the most shocking things was the school was to be closed if the attacks continue.
