Chapter 6: Die evil scum!

"You remember that she killed you right?" Elena glares at her brother. 

"Well, I mean Damon killed him too," Caroline interjects. 

"That's not the same," Elena argues. 

"You're right... It's actually worse," Caroline points out, "Katherine fed him to Silas so she could get the cure to exchange it for her freedom whereas Damon snapped Jeremy's neck because you rejected him."

"Damon's changed," Elena says vehemently. 

"Well then, let's give Katherine a chance to change too. She's having Stefan's kid so she's going to be in our lives for a while," Caroline says diplomatically. 

"Whatever," Elena rolls her eyes and leaves the room.

"So, I have a question," Jeremy looks at Caroline, "How is that you got so much less annoying after becoming a vampire and my sister got so much more annoying?"

I spoke to Nadia about getting someone with knowledge of the supernatural to do your check-ups. You don't need maternity clothing yet, but Caroline offered to go shopping with you when you do." Katherine listens intently and finishes the last of her food.

"Okay I'm just going to have a quick shower," Stefan says before leaving to shower.
