Some minutes into my beauty sleep, i started hearing voices, but it felt like a dream I don't know if it was actually happening.

'Aww she look so cute'i heard someone say
I stretched my body and use the back of my hand to rub my eyes before opening them.
'She's being more cute ’the same voice said, the next thing i was engulfed in a bone crushing hug.

We exchanged greetings.
That's when it clicked, it was the same lady that called yesterday "aunty rahana"salim excused himself and left, that was when I noticed his presence, it was getting awkward for me.
Hmm sorry, I wake up late, let me  shower and will come down in a bit.

'No need to apologize', take your time she said

I smiled and replied with 'sure' and entered the bathroom.

Aunty Rahana

She served me drinks and snacks when she had her bath and came down, she was dressed in a white palazzo, red top and a matching veil, she look dashing, my niece is a lucky one.

Stop bothering yourself and don't treat me like a visitor, i said while she served me the drinks and snacks.

Its not a bother, she said with a smile

'Ok then , let go to your room ' i said and we went to her room

Sit down i said patting the space on her bed.
Let's get to know ourselves better, i said and we talked like long lost friends.
I noticed she is not close with salim, i understand there didn't get married out of love but they are not even making attempt to work things out, for God sake they are not even sharing a room. I vowed to try my best to bring them together, for my niece and if not for him then for my new friend.

I entered her closet, the clothes there are beautiful but there is still space left, I want to fill every single space in here, i am already excited i love shopping.
Hey, get dressed we are going out

Where are we going?
For shopping, be fast
OK
Let's go she said already dressed
Sure.

Wait! What are you  gonna use to buy what we wanna buy?
My credit card of course, she answered as if is the most obvious thing in the world .
Then what's the use of you having husband, go tell your hubby you want to go for shopping, i said sitting down.
No no, it's fine and I don't need much clothes by the way.she answered quickly

'Yes of course you need clothes'i replied

'I can manage on my own and besides i don't want to bother him' she said still not ready to go

Better go and tell him, what's the use of  his money

I know but...
No buts just go and tell him already, we are running out of time. She opened her mouth to speak but I didn't give her the chance to
Okay fine, she said defeated and went upstairs to his room.
    She came back munites later and we were set to go, even when I was dying to know what happened when she went to collect the credit card. I just let it go not wanting to prob.

  ' I  am exhausted I can't feel my legs anymore ' Heela said dropping the shopping bags and collapse on her bed, I laugh at that.
'But it was fun'i said
Yeah, i agree it was fun
Thanks for today, she added
It's nothing, I wave it off, what are friends for.
     We observe our salat (prayer), showered and observe siesta, we really need it.

Please just stay and I'm sure you don't have anything urgent doing at home.
I  said for the umpteenth time trying to persuade aunty rahana to spend the night here but she is being adamant on going.
Truth to be told I don't know what is so important that she want to go home and do. I'm sure there's is nothing.
'I have things doing and besides you need alone time with your husband 'she said, i rolled my eyes internally at that.
You see, she doesn't have any valid reason, that's what she as been saying 'my husband indeed'. But I am not planning on giving up.
Please aunty rahana at least stay over for the night

'Very 'I reply and collect her school bag to go and drop inside.
Sit let me prepare dinner, I am coming I said going toward the kitchen
And i will sit here and do what?' Let's go and cook 'that is what you are suppose to say let's go then.
I refuse to argue cause she will eventually win against me, what is the need, let me save the energy.

What's the time, aunty rahana asked after we had our dinner and now watching movie.
I  checked my phone, 9:35pm I said
What! And your husband is not home yet?
Hmm maybe he is a bit busy today that's why, I lied not wanting her to know about it.
You are lying, what's between you two, she said and pause the movie now facing me.
Nothing I said with a shrug
Do you two had a fight?
No we didn't have a fight
I have been noticing the you guys, you don't talk as much and you don't even sleep in the same room.
I don't know what to say, so I kept quiet.
Is my nephew maltreating you?
Nothing really i reply not wanting to talk about it.
It's either you tell me or I inform my brother she said referring to my father in-law
Okay,we don't have a  normal couple relationship, I said with a shrug
And a why is that, she asked further
I don't really know may be is because it is an arranged marriage and not based on love relationship.
Are you working on your relationship with him?
There is is nothing to work on, i reply
Don't tell me you are planning on living like this with your husband like a total stranger? What were you thinking. Do you like him?
No I don't.
Why?
Well he is cold, taciturn and indifference if I might add heartless .
You have to try, he is your husband, you have to try and give heart to that heartless person, you can't give up when you have not even try, you can't give up on your marriage, your love life. He isn't heartless as you see him to be, he might be cold but dip down he as a soft heart, she held my hand. Please don't give up on my brother, try to break the walls he build around him, I believe you can do it , I have try to many times but it didn't work, please can you do that for me? For us?

If you were not able to do it then I will I be able to, I asked clueless.

I don't think I can....
Please you can do it, promise me you will bring my old nephew back, please promise me heela, she said as few tears dropped. How on earth can I refuse even when I don't know how i will be able to do that

She smile widely, a contagious one at that, I can't help but smile as well.
'Thank you 'she said with a widet smile if that is even possible.
I nod with a smile.
She stood up to wash her face and get a glass of  water.
My phone start ringing. I pick up
Bestie you broke my heart
I rolled my eyes at that
Assalamualaikum at you too, I said
Walaikum salaam, you got married and forget about me right or wait do you have a new Bessie now, am jealous tell me who is she let me break her bones. 
I laugh
I told her about aunty rahana and our day out,  she was jealous because we didn't tell her about it, she would have tag along, when she have work to do.
You mean you will miss your work for shopping?
Yes of course, it has been a while we had fun.
I know but if you keep having the thought of skipping work like that, you will be sacked before you know it.
We laughed at that,I gave aunty rahana the phone and they talked like long lost friends.

     The door clicked open and salim walk in looking haggard, work must have been stressful for him.
We exchanged greetings before he went upstairs, and come down after some minutes. He went to dinning table and say down to eat, well that's new, he was about to serve himself when I told him I will do it and he let me.
