Suddenly my alarm started going off. I hopped up from the bed and the sleeping Courtney and went to take a shower and got ready and left for work not really sure what to say to her.

On the way to the office I left a sign on the window of my cafe saying "employees needed, call me if interested" and I left my number on the bottom. Then I grabbed a coffee and left and went to my new job. When I got to work it was great I didn't have to deal with Manny people just a few coworkers.

When I got home I changed into a pair of shorts and looked around my place to see if Cortny was still there. She wasn't. Was a little down she wasn't but how could I expect her to stay here all day alone with nothing to do.

I ate dinner then suddenly I got a call and I picked up.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"This is.." I heard a gulp. "This is bakugou."

I felt myself perk up. I hadn't anticipated him to actually call me, much less keep my number. "Katsuki? What? Did you need something?"

"Uh... No? I was.... Are you okay?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I mean you sound find... Hmm"

"I'm sorry? what?"

"Are you sick?"

"Why do you ask?" I stared at a wall very confused.

"... Because... We're you fired??"

"Fired?? No? I can't fire myself you know."

"What?"

"Nothing never mind.. But... Ohh.. Your wandering why the store has been closed for the passed few days.. Right?"

".... Mhm.."

"Hehe, no I'm fine. I've just been busy getting a new job. I gotta move out of this apparentment and what I get at the cafe isn't cutting it. So I got another job. I started today. It went really well. I'm rather honored you care so much about me~"

"Wtf, shut up, I do not."

"Mhm sure. Anyw-"

"hey! Who are you on the phone with!?" I heard his boyfriend yell, through the phone and the wall.

"Shit tell your boyfriend to keep it down."

"Er no one! I was... I'm talking to myself!" He hung up but I could still hear them yelling through the walls. I felt sad knowing he was dealing with this toxic abusing asshole.

"Bull fucking shit! I heard you flearting with some guy on the phone!" He yelled.

"No! I was just wondering were he was this week!" I got closer to the wall and listened.

"Oh so you see him often!?"

"What? NO! I mean yes... But not like that! He's not even my friend! He's just.... A guy I run into a lot!"

"What the fuck katsuki! Your cheating on me aren't you!? God fucking damn it." There was stomping around and then a slamming and banging and then the front door I'm assuming was flung open, all the while bakugou begging him not to go. Shit. Then the door slammed shut. I listened close and he seemed to be sobbing by the front door.

"Fuck. Shit it's none of my business. Just... Ignore it... Mmmmm arggg." I talked to myself trying to keep myself from marching right over and- "and what? What could I do? Nothing. Best just leave it alone..." I layed in bed and layed there and layed there.
