In the morning I woke up early in the morning holding a sleeping bakugou. It was nice. I ruffled his soft spiky hair.

I sighed at I thought about that letter. Why was I being such a baby about it. It's not like I haven't already assumed the worst... Okay I haven't.. I just haven't wanted to think about it at all. I avoided thinking about it at all costs and hid it in the back of my mind. I'm too old to keep acting like this about the letter. I just need to read it and get it over with.

I carefully climbed out from under bakugou and quietly walked to my room. I opened the drawer and pulled out the letter adressed to me. I gulped before ripping open the top of the letter for the first time.

I pulled the letter out and began reading it.

"Dear Hitoshi.

It brings me great pain to tell you that your parents died in a horrible accident. You were with us when it happened. I don't know if I will still be alive when you get this but this is your grandmother. When your old enough and if I'm still alive please call me. My phone number is (814)360-3040. I'll tell you all that I can. I'd love to see you my amazing grandson. I'm sorry I couldn't raise you myself due to personal problems but I hope to have the chance to meet you one day.

                                           Love,
                                              Grandma"

My grandma... She could be dead already. Oh no... I waisted all this time thinking it would be better to wait. But in reality I should have opened it the moment I received it when I was 18. Oh god. I felt my face get moist as a lump in my throat grew and a tear fell onto the paper I held.

"Hitoshi? What's wrong?" I looked up at Bakugou. He was standing in my doorway looking at me concerned. His eyes widened when he saw the paper in my hand. "Oh baby... You didn't have to open that yet." he came over to me.

"No... I... I didn't.... I didn't open it soon enough.... I should have opened it years ago... But now it's probably too late... I fucked up by waiting." I held back a sob.

Bakugou sat next to me. "Oh... May I see it?" I passed the paper to him and he read it. ".... Hitoshi... It's possible she's still around. You'll never know if you never try. Or... Have you already tried?"

I shook my head. "No. I'm afraid it's too late." U rubbed the tears out if my eyes and off my face.

"Well fuck. If you don't try then I will. You can't wait any longer to try now. Because what if she is still alive just waiting for a call from you? It could be too late tomorrow Hitoshi. But you can't possibly know until you try. What happened to the stubborn ass hate I started dating? I don't remember him giving up so easily."

"Yeah.. You're right. Okay." I blushed. I pulled out my phone and took a deep breath and dialed the number and called.

"Hello? This is Haniko Shinsou's phone. Who is this?" A really sweet sounding lady said though she sounded considerably young so it couldn't possibly be his grandmother.

"Uh... Yes.. I mean. This is... I was wandering if I could talk to her.. Is she... Still alive?" I asked.

"Pft. Yeah. She's still alive and kicking." The woman chuckled. "She's doing something at the moment though she's not able to come to the phone at the moment. If you leave your name I'll let her know so that she can call you back. Would that be alright?"

"Oh. I didn't.. Wow..." I sighed. "Yeah uh I'm sorry just I didn't think I had anyone left... I thought it was too late..." I said.

She chuckled again. "Well what's you're name?"

"Hitoshi Shinsou." I stated.

Suddenly it sounded like the lady had dropped the phone with a gasp. I heard someone else stomp over close and I heard that it was a man when he spoke. "Honey what's wrong?!"

"Hitoshi." The woman's voice was shaky. Then I heard as the phone was picked up again.

"Hitoshi?" The man's husky voice spoke into the phone.

I didn't know what to do so I hung up not really wanting to deal with talking to random people or fans. Or anyone who possibly resenting him for his place as the CEO of a powerful company.
