"This place is a lot... better than I thought it was."

Mia was currently in hell with death herself, also known as Calliope Mori. Unlike her last few opponents, this wasn't a complete battle though her death was still an option if she proved too unadaqutate in the woman's eyes.

"Well, Hell likes to replicate the overworld so it's nothing special, the cites that is."

Mia had little rest with the most of it coming from simply walking to their battle location.

A field of burning fire flowers which were just quite warm to the touch which defied everything she knew but hell, she was in Hell. She was talking to death and was about to fight her.

12 minutes ago, she fought a Phoenix for three days, her best friend died, and then before all of that, she seen Atlantis.

So, normalcy really went out the window the day she met Ame. Though what she would do to see her smile again is a lot.

Still battered like she got jumped, Mia looked worse for wear but was mostly feeling good because at the moment she was, "half-dead" in real terms. Coming down to Hell as a mortal simply put, is not allowed nor is it possible so down here, she had to give up a part of her soul to be allowed in. Currently, half her soul was in her body and the other half is "within" Mori. Whatever that actually meant, Mia had no real clue.

So, she's hurting a lot more than she can actually feel and what her body can actually produce.

"...Alright, little human, are you ready?" Mori summoned her scythe to her and gave it a spin before pointing it to the girl in front of her.

"Is no an option?" Mia gripped the watch in her hand as the fright showed on her face again. She knew what she was fighting for but her natural human instincts had long told her to run away from it all.

She clipped the watch to her pants without taking her eyes away from the reaper. That'd probably be the last thing she'd want to do.

"What do you think?" A grin appeared as she started walking towards Mia slowly lowering her scythe to her side.

She was setting up a strike that was purposefully obvious.

"Let's just give a little test to those reflexes!!" Mori's voice went into a deep aggressive tone as she slid up to Mia.

The girl quickly spread her feet ready to move and Mori's movement only got more incomprehensible as she did a, "slow" strike aiming for Mia's neck.

She ducked under the strike and launched her hand forward. With how her body was, Mia thought this would be a good time to remove the limiter on her flames.

A blast of flames came directly from her hand and only in that second was everything in front of her engulfed in a raze of blue.

She quickly threw her right hand down and a circle of spikes shot out of the ground around her stabbing anything that dared get close to her.

She lifted her head to find a scythe inches from her head.

She looked behind her to find Mori stabbed through the arm with her scythe extended.

A spark in her hand found the trapped reaper as an easy target and she let it rip once again.

Though when her second of flames ended, she found a foot in her chest as she went flying back and crashed through her ice and slid across the ground. She felt like she had been tied to a horse and dragged down a hill in those few seconds of sliding but she got to her knees anyway.

"Man? Is that all you have?" She was slightly disappointed as the fires on her body were still semi-raging, "I gotta give it to you, that fire shit? It burns, like a lot. doesn't seem like you can spark it more than a second or two, huh?"
