Some people on the school bus seemed excited, talking and giggling with their friends group. One of them approached you. A young boy wearing a strawhat. He had a scar under his left eye, and a wide smile.

— Oi! Are you new here? — he asked, standing next to you, ignoring the bus driver who told him to go back to his seat. — I'm Luffy! What's your name?

— Hi, I'm (Y/N). — you smiled realizing he was actually being nice. — Yes, I'm new here. I moved a few weeks ago.

— Cool! We're friends now! — he smiled. — We might have some classes together, so you can sit next to me.

He seemed to be an extrovert, and started pointing to his friends, saying their names and talking a bit about each one of them. You knew that Zoro was the green haired man who was taking a nap; Nami seemed nice, and apparently liked oranges and money; Sanji was a flirt who liked to cook; Usopp, who liked to tell "stories that sometimes weren't real", and was very good with the slingshot. Robin seemed more mature, and apparently liked to read a lot.

Luffy also mentioned something about his three brothers. Marco, who was the History teacher; Sabo and Ace, which went to school earlier with the older brother that day, but you would all study together, apparently.

When you arrived at the Grand Line High School, Luffy insisted on showing you the whole place, pulling you by your arm without giving you much choice. He was fun, and you were glad you made a friend already. His friends seemed to be very nice too.

After showing the music and art rooms, he spotted three people from far.

— My brothers! — the raven haired boy said, happily, while going to their direction. — Come on, (Y/N). I'll introduce you to them. Marco is the one who looks like a pineapple, Sabo is the blonde one, and Ace is the one with dark hair.

As you got closer, you were able to see their features well. However, one of the boys caught your attention. When you laid your eyes on the brother with dark hair and freckles, you felt something odd, as if he was extremely familiar. You probably were staring for too long, but the boy was doing the same.

— Do you two know each other already yoi? — Marco asked.

— No. — you two managed to say at the same time, making both of you blush for some reason.

— That was funny! — Luffy giggled.

During the whole morning, you looked at Ace when he wasn't looking, and he did the same with you. After a while, your friends started to notice and wonder what was going on between you two.

— What's going on with you and Luffy's brother? — Nami asked, while you and Robin went to the library with her to pick a book. She didn't seem to be accusing you, instead, she sounded curious and a little... Suggestive? — You two kept staring at each other all the time.

— I... I don't know. It just feels like I've met him somewhere, even though I know I didn't. Have you ever felt that?

— Oh, yes! Like a déjà vu, right? I had those sometimes. I guess it has a scientific meaning.

— No, no. It's like you know someone, but you know you never saw them until now. Like this person is very familiar.

— Yes, like a déjà vu!

Meanwhile, since you were not around, Sabo cornered Ace to know what was happening.

— What's up with you and the new girl?
