Silly title, I know.

Ran's P. O. V.

I'm carefully brushing my hair in the bathroom right now, making sure it's all neat. Rindou had just gone out saying that he wanted to go and get something.

Today was, by far, another normal day. I wake up, bother my brother, gang duties and all that normal stuff.

My phone rang as I was in the middle of braiding my hair and I just stared at it, not wanting to undo the braid that I had already halfway finished.

When I actually finished it I picked up the phone to see who's calling me. Only a few people know my number do this must be important or this must be some random fucker who was unfortunate enough to prank call me.

"Hello?"

I waited for a few seconds, waiting for who it is.

"Hi! Wait a minute..."

I looked at the phone in disbelief, trying to remember who had that awfully familiar voice.

"Is this Ran???" the person on the other line asked.

"Yes? Who is this?"

"Oh this is uh... (Y/N)'s brother!"

At the mentioned of (Y/N)'s name, I smiled.

It had been a long time since Rindou and I saw her again, seeing as she was sent to another country to continue her studies.

I had actually liked her way back then, and Rindou did too, obviously. We were both just dumb enough that we didn't notice.

"Oh its you (B/N)! Why have you called?" I asked, still in the process of finishing the other braid.

"(Y/N)'s not here. She only left a note here saying that she's going back to Japan and she said she's gonna see you guys." I can hear (B/N) sighing on the other line as my heart skipped a beat.

Ran called his brother after that, the younger one clearly annoyed at his brother for interrupting whatever he was doing. It took a lot of explaining and persuading before Ran finally got Rindou to believe him.

They actually had a conversation together without beating each other up.

They were now at the airport, waiting breathlessly for (Y/N). It had been a good five years since they last saw her, personally at least, seeing as they often had video calls like friends do, and they were more than excited in seeing her.

Only that they sure didn't look like it. Ran had his usual smug little smile while Rindou was downright scowling per usual. A resting bitch face, as one would call it.

Once they spotted a familiar figure walking out of the airport, they immediately fixated their sight on her. She stood out amidst the crowd of people and they were more than sure it's her.

The girl set her eyes on a very familiar face, immediately running to their direction as she did so. She even forgot to bring her luggage with her due to the excitement, one to which Rindou was about to point out but didn't have the time to do so.
