Naomi's P. O. V:

Giyu and I reach a town and book in at a hotel. The hot springs here were separated by a bamboo wall, so I head into the girl's hot spring, a towel around me, and Giyu went into the men's. By now, the sun is setting.

I soak for nearly an hour, sighing in content at the blissfulness of the warm water. I eventually get out and go to get my clothes back on. I then meet up with Giyu for dinner.

We chatted about our recent missions and plans for when we get back to headquarters. I'd become the Crystal Hashira the year after Giyu. I was pretty excited to see our friends again.

After dinner, we get into our sleeping kimonos and Giyu sits next to me on my bed, which is next to his. Since we're really close after dating for so long, we usually share rooms at inns, just like back home.

I gaze at Giyu as he lifts a hand and brushes some pink and purple hair back, only for it to fall back into place. My heart beats faster as he cups my left cheek, his touch gentle.

"Giyu-kun," I murmur, half closing my eyes.

"We haven't been on a date in awhile due to our missions. How about we go out when we get to the next town?" Giyu asks.

"Sounds good. We've been doing missions nonstop lately. We could do with a break," I agree.

"We'll head off in the morning," He says. I nod and Giyu leans in, his lips meeting my own.

I immediately relax into the kiss as our lips dance across each other, warmth flooding me. Giyu moves his hands to my waist and rubs my sides gently, making my skin tingle.

He gently pushes me on my bed and I tug his black hair, which is now unbound for bed, and I hear him growl lightly, deepening the kiss.

I let out a small noise as this continues, my heart beating fast in my chest.

Giyu may be a strong demon slayer, but he was always gentle with me.

Giyu trails soft kisses down my neck and to the spot where my shoulder meets it. I turn my head as he presses a kiss there before gently sucking that spot, making me moan. I could definitely feel him smirking against my skin.

After about a minute, he pulls back, hands resting on my waist, and gazes down at my half lidded expression, my face flushed.

"You're so beautiful," He murmurs. "I love you, Naomi."

"I love you, too, Gi-kun," I reply.

Giyu smiles softly before he leans down to kiss me once more.

The sun was high in the sky as Giyu and I continue our journey home. Weve been travelling for a day now, but will reach headquarters by tomorrow. We were leaping through forest trees when I catch sight of a demon down below. Not saying anything to Giyuu, I turn towards the demon, sword drawn.

"Crystal Breathing, First Form: Quartz Slash," I think before I swing my blade at the demon. The demon manages to leap out of the way and I land as it does.

"Well, well, lookie here! A couple of humans," It says as Giyu lands behind me. The demon sneers at me. "You're so small, though. There's no way you could kill me!"

The demon charges for me but I swing my sword with the same attack as last time, and the demon gives a cry of pain, staggering back. I'd sliced off its wrist.

"You little bitch!" I see a flash of anger in Giyu's eyes at that before the demon charges for me again.

"Crystal Breathing, Sixth Form, Ruby: Rising Scorching Sun," I say as I slash with my sword and an arch of flame hits it. The demon jumps back as I charge straight for it. "Crystal Breathing, First Form: Quartz Slash!"

I thrust my sword at the demon as I vanish from sight. Then, I reappear behind the demon, my bangs shadowing my gaze.

"You mi—!" The demon begins right before its body turns into rose quartz crystal, freezing it in place.

Then, two heartbeats later, the crystal shatters with a pop. As the shards rain down, they dissipate into thin air. Not a single trace of the demon remains.

My sword is like any other nichirin blade, but when it comes into contact with a demon or person, it emits crystal that crystallises right down to the molecule level, and they shatter like this demon. I use it due to the fact I lack any physical strength to decapitate a demon.

I send Giyu a smile as I flick the blood off my rainbow sword and flip it around before sheathing it. I say to Giyu, who's smiling back at me proudly, "Now that that's taken care of, let's hurry back to HQ! We might be in time for our date!"

"You're as fast as ever, Naomi-chan," Giyu says as we resume leaping through the trees. "I never could keep up with your movements."

"I'm the best, aren't I?" I giggle, leaping just a little ahead of him. We reach the mansion of our master as the sun was setting, and we go to give our report, while being careful to leave out the fact we let the demon girl live.

The master is a young man with chin length black hair and scars across his eyes and forehead, making him appear blind. With him are two girls with soft white hair and violet eyes.

When Giyu and I finish giving him our report, the master dismisses us. We bow in respect before taking our leave, the sun splashing the sky in lavender, pink and orange. Giyu and I have started living in my old two storey house whenever we weren't given missions. It was nice having company again.

"Oh, you two are back!" We turn to see a young man with spiky white hair and scars on his face and arms. "I thought you'd been killed on the mission—though not Naomi-chan."

"Sanemi," I greet, smiling. "It's good to see you too. Yeah, we made it."

"I'm glad you made it back alright. I'm about to head out so I guess I'll see you sometime!"

I say appreciatively, "Good luck, Sanemi-kun."

He waves to us before Giyu and I continue to the next town for our date.
