Minho: A Maze Runner Fanfiction

Chapter 12

You walk out of the bathroom to find Newt anxiously waiting right where he was. "Well?"
You nod slowly, holding back the tears in your eyes. Not only were you worried about what Minho might have to say, but who knows what Alby will do. You grab Newts hand and pull him along to the deadheads. As soon as you reach the center(ish) of the forest, you throw the test on the ground and begin to stomp on it as tears stream down your face. Newt pulls you back and into a hug, leaving the crushed test on the ground.
"It will be alright." He says "When are you planning on telling Minho?"
"I don't know." You pull away from the hug and sit down, leaning against a tree. You hear shouts and swallow the air that was in your mouth when you realize they were saying "Hey Minho!"
Newt gets up and leaves without another word. You stay behind, not wanting to face Minho and the others. You curl into a ball with your face in your knees.
"Y/n?" You hear Minho ask from behind you. Great. Just what I wanted. "Y/n, what's wrong?" He sits down next to you. He begins to wrap his arm around you but you scoot away from him. Minho scoots back from you and stares at you in shock.
"Y/n, what's wrong? What did I do?"
"Minho" you say "I'm pregnant." You don't even bother going off on a tangent about it. Tears stream down your face as you say it, and you can see a look of complete disbelief on Minho's face. "I'm sorry." You whisper. "I'm so sorry"
"How do you know?" He asks, seeming emotionless.
You don't bother answering and you just point to the crushed test sitting a foot away from you. You assume he understands because he doesn't respond. You begin to prepare yourself for him to rage, and make the decision that it would be wiser for you run that fight him if it comes to that.
"Y/n! That's great!" He shouts. He picks you up and puts your feet on the ground as he kisses you. When he pulls away, he says, "And you shouldn't be the sorry one. If anything, I should be sorry"
You smile, "How are we going to tell the others? And what am I going to do for the next 9 months? Ooooooooh boy Alby's gonna be pissed. We'll be lucky if he doesn't klunk himself."
Minho laughs, "Don't count on it. I don't think Alby will be that mad, but if he is, I'll take all of the blame, okay? I don't want you getting hurt."
"Getting hurt?"
"Banished." He replies grimly. "What are we going to do about Chuck? Do you think we might finally have to explain the birds and the bees?" He says, attempting at lightening the mood.
"I'll leave that to you." You smile.

You and Minho walk hand in hand out of the forest, and you almost immediately spot Newt. When you guys make eye contact, you nod a small nod, and you see Newt smiles. He gestures for you to come here.
"Let's go tell Newt." You turn to Minho.
"Okay."
When you approach Newt, you notice how nervous Minho looks. You give him a reassuring smile before you make it to him.
"Hey Newt" you say.
"Hello loves" Newt says.
"We have something to tell you." Minho says. You nearly start to laugh because you know that Newt already knows.
"What's wrong?" Newt asks convincingly enough.
"Newt.... Y/n is pregnant." Minho says.
"Really?" Newt says, "Congratulations!" He hugs you both.
"We're going to go talk to Alby about it." Minho says. You and Minho walk away from Newt towards the kitchen where you are sure to find Alby.

Hey guys! Sorry this chapter is a little shorter than usual. I've been a little sidetracked lately with doing absolutely nothing. But so I got an Instagram! I already had one, but this one is like for my writing/ reading.
