Chapter 720

Matt's POV: Once Antonio finished getting us a snack, I smiled as I went to sit up more. Gabby then did the same while sitting up next to me against her own pillow. Tugging the covers up on top of us (because Gabby was wearing a nightie and I was just wearing my boxers and a t-shirt), I smiled when Antonio went to give me the food that made for us. "Here we go, some food for you guys." I then agreed with him before going to grab the plate from him. "Thanks, cheese and crackers are always really good when it comes to snacks." He agreed with us and smiled.

He then went to sit down at the end of our bed while I went to put the food down in between us. Antonio then smiled at the both of us. "So, what do you guys need to talk to me about?" Gabby then smiled when he asked us that. "So listen, you know that we are still involved in the charity right?" Antonio nodded and smiled when Erin said that. "Yeah, I know that." Gabby then turned to look at me and smiled. "So listen, we are not saying that this is going to happen but...I recently talked to the head of fundraising for the charity." Antonio then smiled. "Chicago?"

I laughed when he said that and shook my head. "Nope. We are really going to need a favor though when it comes to this because we are going to this fundraising event. There is no way in hell what we are going to loose this opportunity because it is really good." Antonio then looked at the both of us. "Where do they want to send the both of you?" Gabby then smiled at him. "Okay...so the Charity wants to send me to a fundraiser in London shortly after thanksgiving right before our 5th anniversary." Antonio then looked at me and nodded.

"Of course I can watch the kids...that would be a great couple nights." I then bit my lip. "Okay, here's the real favor. Since we are flying all the way to London...it's only an hour or so flight from London to Paris." Antonio then smirked when we mentioned that. "Ah..." We both nodded. "We haven't decided this but...we were thinking about either going before the fundraiser or after the fundraiser. We would have to talk about that but...I was thinking after since the charity event in Chicago was before our anniversary last year. So, Paris after would be better."

Antonio then looked at the both of us when I said that. "So, that means that you want to go to London, do your charity event...and then you are going to go to Paris for what? A few days? A week?" I turned to look at Gabby and bit my lip. "Honestly Antonio, we haven't even thought about that yet. Heck, we don't even know if we are the ones who are going to be chosen to go. But right now, we just need to know if we can count on you. I know it's really far away but...if we get offered the chance to go, then we are going to jump at the chance."

Gabby nodded when I said that and smiled at me. "Oh definitely, if we ever have a chance to go to Paris...then we are going to go to Paris." Antonio agreed with the both of us and laughed. "It will of course have to depend whether I am working at the time or not but...I am going to try my best to be able to be there for you. But you guys should talk to our moms. I am positive that they would love to help you guys out when it comes to taking care the babies while you guys go do your job in London." We both agreed when he said that. That's when I got a text message from the charity. Going to open it, I went to read it.

'Hey Matt, we just sent you some blueprints for some apartments. Can you check the measurements? -Hannah

I then went to grab my iPad and smiled at Gabby. "The charity wants me to help out. They just sent me some blueprints that they are going to be using for apartments. They want me to go over the measurements and make sure that they all add up." Gabby agreed with me when I said that and nodded. "Of course we can do that right now in bed." I smiled when she said that before going to put my iPad in my lap. I then went to open the documents and smiled. "Hey Antonio, can you grab me my pad of paper over there? I can only do math like this on paper."

He agreed with me when I said that before walking over to my dresser where I had a pad of paper. He then grabbed the pencil that was next to it before going to bring it over to me. "Here you go, I hope that this works for now." I nodded and agreed with him when he said that. "Thanks, this will definitely work." He smiled when I said that before looking at Gabby. "You must love this new life you guys are starting. This was your dream life when you first left Chicago." Gabby then turned to look at me and grabbed my hand. "Yeah, it is."

Going to open the blueprints, I went to start the measurements. "Antonio, I really hate to do this but...I would like to get this done. The sooner I send it back to them, the sooner that they can get back to work on the construction project." Antonio nodded when I said that and smiled at me. "Of course man. Just promise me that you are going to eat that snack I brought you guys." I nodded and agreed with him when he asked me that. Going to grab some of the cheese and crackers that he brought us, I then went to take a bite while looking at the plans.

Gabby then smiled as she got close to me. Wrapping my arm around her, I just smiled because this was really comfortable. Kissing the top of her head, I smiled at her. "God, this is comfortable." Gabby laughed when I said that before nodding as I went to draw the layout.
