~chapter 6~

Adoras POV:

It's been a few months since Matt vs. catra BUT besides that!! ITS HOMECOMING IN 2 WEEKS!! I'm thinking about asking catra but I'm scared WHAT IF SHE SAYS NO- then I'll have to hide and never show my face AGAIN! But anyway I'm at glimmers house she said she wanted me to help her look for the perfect outfit

"Adora! R u listening!" Glimmer said waving her hand in my face

"Not really... sorry!" I said

"What's up?" She asked sitting next to me

"I- I wanna ask catra to homecoming but what if she says no or what if-"

"SHHH adora!!! Stop overthinking this! It's pretty clear she likes u so ask her!" Glimmer said

"But how? Should I do something big or just something small" I asked

"Maybe just keep it small that way if u get rejected somebody will know!" Glimmer said jumping off the bed

"U THINK IM GONNA GET REJECTED?!?"

"NO NO!! Of course ur not!!" Glimmer said "that came out wrong! And plus catra doesn't like HUGE stuff like that! She likes to keep it small or chill so you'll be fine" glimmer said shrugging

"Yea yea ur right! I'm gonna ask her!" I said standing up

"That's the spirt! Now! Do u like the blue one or the red one?" Glimmer asked holding up the two dresses

"Red definitely"

"YAY! Now I have my outfit let's pick out urs!" Glimmer said looking in her closet

After a while glimmer out 4 dresses

"Ok try this one on first!" She said giving me the dress and I went into the bathroom. The dress was pink with sparkles looked like something glimmer would wear. I put it on anyways then I walked out of the bathroom and back into glimmers room Glimmer looked over to me and shook her head

"Nah.. here try this one!" She said giving me another dress and I walked back into the bathroom I took off the pink sparkly dress and put on the other one. It was blue and it was pretty long. After I put it on I walked out the bathroom and into glimmers room..

"NOPE! Here try this red one" she said handing it to me then I walked into the bathroom AGAIN took off the blue dress and tried on the red one it was pretty short it stopped just above my knees. I really liked it. After I got it on I walked back into glimmers room and her eyes lit up

"THIS! THIS IS THE ONE ADORA!!" She said jumping up and down

"Yeah I like it" I said twirling around

"EEK CATRAS GONNA DIE WHEN SHE SEES U IN THIS!" She said and I blushed

Bows pov:

SO homecoming is in 2 weeks! SO I'm looking for the PERFECT outfit for catra. She said she wanted a suit so it was perfect I had a lot of good ones she tried on a black one but she said it looked weird then I spotted the perfect one!

"CATRA!"

"What!" She said coming into my room

"I found the perfect one GO TRY IT ON!!" I said pushing the suit in her face

"Alright alright sheesh I don't even wanna go to this stupid dance" she said rolling her eyes

"Welp ur going! Now go try it on" I said pushing her out of the room

(Time skip)

After a while catra came back into my room with the suit. It was a maroon suit with a black tie and it came with some fingerless gloves

"I like this on crop top" she said

"EEEE ME DO ADORAS GONNA LOVE IT!!" I said

"Whatever" she said blushing and then rolled her eyes

"Now that we have the perfect outfits!! We gotta get u a date! And I know the perfect person!" I said smirking

"Who?" She asked and I smirked at her And her eyes widened and she blushed

"I know who ur thinking about" she said

"GOOD! Now we gotta work on how ur gonna ask her!" I said standing up

"What if she ask me?"

"Hmm... well if she doesn't ask u by next week then u can ask her. U gotta give her some time with this stuff" I said

"Yeah thanks bow"

"OMG U CALLED ME BY MY REAL NAME!!" I said and did a happy dance around my room catra groaned and walked out.
