Chris

I woke up and went to my room and took a shower and did my little hygiene thing and knocked on Lori's door. I hope she was okay because she didn't answer at all.

Maybe she went to work or something. Naa, she aint got work today and she would've cooked a nigga some breakfast. I decided to call Ty.

"What's good?" He answered .

"Ayyy man. You heard from Lori?"

"Naa, I got a hangover like a bitch right now. I got fucked up nigga. I'm at Ashley's right now."

"Oh, okay."

"I'll hit you back my nigga."

"Yeah." I said hanging up.

I tried to call Lori again but her phone must've been turned off.

I haven't seen Lori for a month now and I couldn't help but wonder where she was. Maybe she moved? but she probably would've told me..or even Auntie but Auntie never said anything about her. Guess she already had enough on her mind.

I was sitting at the counter playing with my food again. I was suppose to be hitting the block to pay these damn bills and shit but Ty wasn't calling a nigga back and I just couldn't get over the fact that Lori disappeared. Not even mama was talking to me, I heard she got her a new man and moved him into my old room. Everything started stressing me out since I've been out here. I was use to being by myself and shit and not having my nigga Ty to roll with like old days. I was use to mama and Auntie not being there and I wouldn't have to worry about family and all this other bulls hit that required us to see each other and do family shit. I was use to being alone and fucking these hoes and leaving them.

But I was here being called out by mama every time she seen me. Listening to Auntie ask me a million questions and the two people that actually made all that shit worth it was..gone. I think. At least that's what it felt like.

"You gonna eat today?" Auntie asked.

"yeah Ima eat. Just a little full from earlier."

She stared at me and made a face.

"What Auntie?"

"Don't what Auntie me, what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing."

"Boy don't lie."

"I'm not."

"Let me stop you before you keep lying..you've been coming to my house every other day with this fake smile you put on like you coming to see me. You looking for Lori or Ty?" She smiled.

"Nobody." I sipped my orange juice.

"Why you gotta lie Chris? I know you miss Ty."

"You talk in like a nigga gay man.."

"Then just say you miss Lori." She chuckled and started washing dishes.

I grew silent.

"Just know that she's okay and she'll be back soon."

"You heard from her?"

"Yeah boy. We tight as hell!"

We both laughed .

"So what have you been doing with your life?"

"Here we go."

"Boy, you better go to school and get a career! And stop doing that shit you do."

"What shit." Fuck she talk in bout? -___-

"Smoking that weed and shit."

"Maaaaan look.."

"You come high everyday. You need to fix your life before it fixes you. If you want I can help you. Just ask."

"I'll think about it."

"Chris you not gonna ask me now?"

"Auntie."

"Don't let them drugs consume you."

"Weed?"

"Boy I know waaaay more then you think I know. It's more than that. I'm telling you to stop for you become like Uncle Jarvis."

I just got up and walked out. Auntie straight up tried me. Uncle Jarvis is a crackhead. He's on every drug you can name. He always comes around drunk or high asking for money. He started out doing the same shit I'm doing now but I don't care. I'm not gonna be like that nigga. I'm not that addicted or am I ?

I ran the block for a little and then got lit as fuck because Auntie had my head gone and I had to focus on these bills and shit. A nigga needed some new gear and I was working on a new ride. I was planning on disappearing soon.

When I got back to the crib I heard sobbing and glass breaking in the downstairs bathroom. Lori?
