Their Light

Chapter 2

"SIX BROTHERS!?!?!!" I yelled shocked

I heard a bunch of chuckles and what almost seemed like a stampede coming down the stairs.

There infront of me stood 4 intimidating men staring down at me. They had to of been over 6'0 tall like Elijah because they were were GIANTS.

One of them looked just a bit older then me and seemed to have a huge smile on his face, he seems nice i thought.

The rest seemed very cold as they stared down at me.

I tapped Elijahs arm and motioned for him to lean down, "I thought I had 6 brothers?" I whispered to him. "You do, Alessandro is just at work right now, you'll see him in the morning" he replied. "Oh ok".

All of a sudden one of the brothers came up to me, and hugged me? This feels strange, even though I just met the man I feel safe, protected in his embrace.

"Hey sorrelina" , I looked at him puzzled before saying "W-which brother are you?". He laughed quietly before telling me that his name was Matteo.

The rest of my brothers then introduced themselves to me telling me their names which were Luca, Leonardo, and Adriano.

Leonardo just glared at me while Elijah introduced him to me.

I quickly looked away to the ground before Luca quickly grabbed my hand and lead me upstairs. "I ALREADY KNOW WE ARE GOING TO BE BESTIES COME ON ALREADY!!!" He yelled.

He was practically running, one step for him was like two or three steps for me. "Can you walk any slower?!" I yelled at him.

"yeah sorry, forgot that you're short" he replied while chuckling.

"I am NOT short." I glared at him.

"Hmm okay if you say so sorrellina" he laughed before rubbing the top of my head messing up my hair.

I gruffed in annoyance.

When I opened the door to my room, it was beautiful. The walls were white with a fireplace in the middle of the room with a tv one the back, a couch facing the tv with a shaggy carpet beneath it. And the bed was literally a cloud, it was the softer thing ever.

I unpacked all my stuff and changed into my pjs before drifting off to sleep.

I felt someone shaking me awake, I quickly slapped their hands away.

"Izy"

"Cmon wake up Iz"

"fine, making me do this the hard way I see"

I felt their presence leave before screaming as I felt cold water all over me.

"WHAT. THE. FUCK!" I screamed before seeing Leonardo standing over top of my bed with an empty bucket in his hand. He just laughed and walked out telling me to be downstairs for breakfast in 15 minutes. That fucker.

I changed back into my clothes from yesterday before making my way downstairs.

I heard a bunch of talking as I made my way into the dining room. Right when I entered all eyes looked at me, I blushed in embarrassment, looking down as I made my way to the only seat left. Which of course had to be next to the scariest guy in the room, he looks older and more intimidating than the rest of my brothers.

When I sat down the scary guy looked at me before saying "I'm Alessandro your eldest brother, it's amazing to see you again Izy, after breakfast can you please come to my office there's some thing I need to discuss with you"

Again? What'd he mean by again, I've never seen this guy in my life.

I nodded in response. He glared at me, I was confused as to why he's glaring at me but Adriano must have seen the confusion in my face because he said

"Oh yeah by the way we expect verbal responses to what we say".

"O-Okay" I replied.

My brothers have already finished their breakfast, I was just playing with my food before Elijah asked "Do you not like your food sorrellina?" Everyone went silent as my brothers then looked my way.

"No i like it" I replied.

"Why aren't you eating? You haven't ate a thing" Elijah asked worriedly.

"I- uhm I'm just not r-really hungry" I told him looking down at my plate.

"Izabella you need to finish your plate" Alessandro's voice boomed. "B-but I can't i'm full" I quietly replied.

"It wasn't a question Izabella, I'll sit here all day if I have to for you to finish your plate."

I looked down embarrassed and slowly started eating my food with all my brothers watching me with every bite I take.

"Good girl" Alessandro replied after I finally finished all my food.

My brothers except Matteo who was taking another helping of food leaving just us two in the room. Once he finished his helping he rubbed my head before saying "It's good to have you back baby sis"

"I'm not a baby and stop messing up my hair" I glared at him.

He laughed loudly, "You look cute when you "glare" baby" before walking out of the room.

I then walked to Alessandro's office, I wonder what he wants to talk about.
