Izabella's pov

"When will you guys be back?" I asked Alessandro as he and the rest of my brothers have to go out and deal with some work tonight.

"Not sure exactly bambina, but we'll try to be back as soon as possible. We're calling a friend over who will be spending the night with you since we won't be there," he spoke.

"I'm 15, not a baby, I don't need a babysitter! I can easily take care of myself." I argued.

"I know you can but we won't be there to protect you in case something were to happen." "But-", I interrupted him. "I can't risk what happened before to happen again. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you again.." his voice getting quieter at the last sentence.

Him saying that made me pause, I guess I can understand where he was coming from. I mean I wouldn't want anything to happen to any of my brothers. Sighing I told him I understood, we said our goodbyes and hung up.

Deciding to watch a show while I wait for the friend of theirs to come and"babysit" me, I grabbed the remote and played The Vampire Diaries.

10 minutes into the show I heard the doorbell ring, signaling that their friend was here. Reaching the door I gasped "Val!?".

"Hello, love" he smiled. I quickly wrapped my arms around him, my head on his chest.

God his chest is like a rock.

Hearing a  chuckle I looked up at Val, "what's funny?" I furrowed my eyebrows obviously confused as to why he would just laugh out of nowhere. "Nothing, just that my chest is like a rock that's all" he smirked and walked into the house. Leaving me standing there, blushing.

"So what should we do?" I asked Val, as we had just finished dinner, and I can tell you that's one thing for sure. Val is an AMAZING cook.

"Hmm," he paused as he thought of what they could do, "I could teach you how to make my favourite dessert? Then we could watch a movie or show, whichever you want" he continued.

"I'm good with that" I smiled, "so what do we do first?"

"I'll grab the dry ingredients, you grab the wet ones?", nodding I made my way to the fridge and got everything, placing it on the countertop.

Val then came back and did the same. Grabbing a measuring cup he began measuring everything out as I poured it into the mixer, and mixed it on low speed.

"Mmm," I moaned in delight.

Valentino stiffened and grabbed a blanket placing it over top of me and him. He must have seen my curious look as he spoke, "in case you uh get cold during the movie". "oh ok" I replied, going back to my tiramisu.

20 minutes into the movie I frowned as I looked into the jar there was no tiramisu left. "Don't look so down, love. I'll make you some more another time", I smiled and decided to get comfy. Resting my head on Val's shoulder I saw a slight smile appear on his face before he moved us so that I was lying between his legs and leaning against his chest.

I fell asleep sometime during the movie, I heard some hushed voices and movement around me, being too tired to bother checking out what it was I went back to sleep.

Feeling myself getting lifted up, I felt them place me down into I imagine my bed. I felt them give me a quick kiss on my head before leaving.

I heard them mumble something, all I could get out of it was "god" and "me".

Huh? Everyone I know isn't Christian, what'd they mean by god?

My tiredness overtook once again, and I fell into a deep slumber, still wondering who had brought me to bed.

I guess the topic left my mind, cause I can sure tell you that my dream last night sure wasn't about that.
