Izabella's Pov
"come in" I spoke, hearing a knock on my door. Alessandro entered in his usual formal attire as he made his way towards me.
"What's up?" I asked him.
"So every year as apart of being in the business we are in, there's an annual ball that we have to go to. To the public eye it's just an annual charity fund, but all that's just a cover up so the public doesn't find anything about the real reason we are all meeting up for. I know you may not want to come, and I don't really want you to have to come as it will be really dangerous with every mafia being there, but it's better that you're with us at all time then being alone" he replied.
"Wait hold on, ball? Is everyone else going?" I asked curiously.
"Yes, you're brothers and cousins will be joining us along with Valentino as he plays an important role in our mafia"
"What role?"
"It's hard to explain, but he basically supervises and makes sure everything is running smoothly. He also helps come up with plans and run things when or Elijah isn't there. So he is basically the Consigliere" he explained.
"Oh cool, so when is the ball going to be? I asked.
"It's going to be next Saturday, someone will take you out shopping to get a dress sometime tomorrow"
"Ok" I replied. Alessandro soon left my room after that.
My phone vibrated as I was reading.

|I- yeah I'm super busy lol
|V- well idc cancel whatever plans you got i'm on my way over
|I- what!! Val, my brothers r going to be mad if they find out you're coming!
|V- relax, love. They already know, in-fact they're the ones who asked me to come over again as they have a bit more business to take care of
|I- oh.. well when will you be here?
I must admit I'm a bit upset, my brothers have been leaving me and going out a lot recently. I know they're most likely working, but couldn't they have the decency to even just tell me?

Hearing the doorbell ring I went downstairs to open the door for Val.
"Hi Val!" I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Hello darling", he hugged me back.
"So I hear you're going to the ball too?"
"Unfortunately" he sighed, putting his head in my neck. "Why is it a bad thing?" I asked confused. I thought that the ball would be fun, especially with all the food!
"The room is just filled with assholes. Also it's really just boring in general" he chuckled. "When you're there out of you're cousins, brothers, or myself, one of us will be with you at all times but incase we ever get separated don't talk to anyone and try to steer clear as one of us should find you soon enough. I don't want anything to happen to you", he spoke with a worried yet calm voice.
"Alright, I wasn't planning on talking to anyone else anyways. From what I've heard they all sound scary" I spoke.
He chuckled, "don't worry I'll be there to protect you" he flashed his muscles.
God he's hot.

Hearing my brothers heavy footsteps entering the room quickly jumped off of Val's lap, as we had just been cuddling, watching movies all day.
"Hey Iz, how was your day?" Matteo asked giving me a big hug.
"Pretty good! Val and I just watched movies all day I smiled.
"That's good to here" he smiled in return.
"Thanks again bro for keeping her safe" Adriano thanked Valentino.
"It was no problem, really" he replied before continuing, "anyways I should probably head back now, wouldn't want Luciano getting mad at me for being late to dinner again" he chuckled, giving me a quick hug and whatever that bro hand shake thing is boys do before leaving.
"So what's for dinner?" Matteo asked.
Elijah looked at his watch, "It's pretty late now, and after all that work today I'm not really in the mood to cook a full on meal, you good with just going out to eat somewhere?" he asked the rest of us.
"I'm good with it"
"sure"
"yeah"
"CAN WE GO TO MC DONALDS"
"No Matteo, it's super unhealthy for you"
"CMON WE NEVER GO THERE THOUGH"
"I said no Matteo" Alessandro spoke sternly, not allowing any room for discussion.
"Ugh" Matteo sighed.
"We can go to that new restaurant they built downtown, it's only a 5 or so minute drive away" Elijah offered.
"Ok, great. We are going there then" Alessandro decided.
We went to the garage and I got into the car with Luca, Matteo, and Leonardo. While Adriano, Elijah, and Alessandro went in another.
"AND WE DANCED ALL NIGHT TO THE BEST SONG EVER" Luca and I sang. Leonardo was acting as if he didn't like One Direction but I saw you bopping your head Leo..
I saw you..
"CMON LEOOO" Luca whined, "JOIN US"
"No." he replied.
"Please Leooo" I looked up at him through the mirror giving him my signature puppy eyes.
Signing he rolled his eyes and began to join in with us, "WE KNEW EVERY LINE NOW I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW IT GOES BUT I KNOW THAT I WONT FORGET HER", we continued singing to One Direction songs before finally arriving at the restaurant.
I knew Leo was deep down a 1D fan.
