A mother fucking cheeseburger!

The juicy meat tasted amazing on my tongue as I savored the double stacked monstrosity that Drogaxe's high-tech food thingy made. That scaly big bastard took this long to tell me it could make Earth food! If I weren't trying to avoid him I would've been watching space in the common area. Instead I'd holed myself up in the bedroom.

Ever since we had sex I was suddenly all shy. Facing him was a challenge.

I really fucking enjoyed sex with Drogaxe but it sure had complicated things. Maybe it was just my human emotions clouding my typical bravado. It wasn't like I could hide forever. He was a persistent hunter after all.

With the last bite of my burger my heart started to race knowing what I had to do next. I would have to traverse the ship while avoiding him.

Great! Fantastic!

Swallowing my nerves I left the room with my plate at the ready to throw as a distraction just in case I encountered the seven foot hunter. The ship was darker than usual and quiet, too quiet. I was used to hearing him at the control panel talking to different Yautja, their language full of clicks and growls. Curiousity got the best of me and I went to check out the common space. I kept low to the ground while trying to keep my steps light in my trek.

I wasn't the best at keeping quiet but I tried.

My senses told me something was wrong because he was nowhere in his usual spot nor the trophy room, food room, training room, not even the bathroom. I saw we were still in space; the stars flying by in our journey through the stars. The fact that I couldn't fucking find him was starting to freak me out.

He was the only mother fucker on this ship that could pilot the damn thing. If something happened to him then I was royally screwed.

I tip-toed through the ship again once I returned my plate to the food room. On my second sweep I heard the faintest noise.

A scrape against the metal. Metal on metal. Something sharp.

Lowering myself into a low stance I crept around the ship trying to find it but heard another sound...but louder...and the opposite way. I was confused seeing that I already checked that area but found nothing. A growl of frustration escaped my throat. Fear was no longer there but annoyance.

He was playing a game with his bullshit invisibility.

If his goal was to piss me off then this was it. I brandished my bowie knife, one I kept strapped to my ankle ever since he procured new clothes for me thanks to that neat Yautja tech. It was a decent length and serrated. A good defensive tool.

"Marco..." I called out as I circled the common room again.

Another noise right beside me but there was nothing.

I couldn't even smell him.

"Polo." His deep voice was right next to me, so close that I jumped and scurried backwards. I saw nothing but empty air.

Backing myself into the wall I briefly closed my eyes listening for any minute sounds. I only heard the quiet, nothing, not even the hum of an engine. There wasn't even the scrape of feet against the metal floor. Nothing.

I didn't know how he does it.

He's so fucking big but moves quieter than a cat. It was unnerving.

"You have been avoiding me." Again, his voice came from nowhere I can see.

"Maybe. So what?"

"I did not take you for a coward, Leoni."
