Tiningnan ni Ezra ang litrato ni Fina sa kanyang cellphone. Kahit gustung gusto nyang itext ang dalaga ay hindi nya magawa dahil gusto muna nyang ayusin ang nangyayari sa kanya ngayon.

"Mr. Rafael Lincoln has arrived." Sabi ng secretary at nagtayuan naman kaagad ang nasa board room.

Mas lalong kinabahan si Ezra, but he prepared for this day. "Alright, Ezra, whenever you're ready you can start." Hindi nag-aksaya ng oras ang matanda at pinagsimula agad si Ezra.

Tumayo si Ezra at sinimulan ang kanyang slides. Pinagpapawisan sya kahit na malakas naman ang aircon. "I know dad, that's why I am giving you a solution to fix the sales." Nauutal na sabi ni Ezra at halatang kinakabahan sya. He skipped the slides for the advertisement and went on with the next one. "I am planning to change and brand into a new one. For this month we will do an anniversary sale. We are also changing the scent of some of our perfumes to cost cut, only until we get our investment back." Isang malakas na tawa lang naman ang narinig ni Ezra muna kay Mrs. Alejandra Lincoln.

"You want to alter the quality of our perfumes to make money? Are you kidding me? Rafael, your son is out of his mind. He should be demoted as soon as possible." Hindi nagustuhan ni Ezra ang sinabi ng matanda.

"Mom, please, just let me finish. Give me another 6 months and I promise our sales will go back up." Nagmamakaawa si Ezra pero parang isang katatawanan lang sya sa mga nandun.

"Another 6 months? Who's going to cover for our losses? Are you taking the money out of your own pocket?" Tanong ni Alejandra. "If that's so, make sure to include all the manufacturing, marketing, advertising costs as well as your employees salary. And speaking of employees, I went to your office and I was surprised by all the new faces. Did you fire everyone including Polla?" Pagpapatuloy nito at hindi na agad nakasagot si Ezra. "You hired incompetent overpaid employees. They are making money by doing nothing and yet here we are suffering from a terrible lost. I think we have to vote, we've seen enough." Isinara ni Alejandra ang folder na galing kay Ezra at humarap sa lahat ng nandun. "My son will take over, he should've been from the start." Tumingin ito sa katabi nyang binata.

"Dad, please let me make this right." Pagmamakaawa ni Ezra na halos maiyak na dahil sa nararamdaman.

"I already gave you the 6 months you asked. The Lincoln Industry can't suffer this much. We don't want to take a risk or else we have to close the Lincoln Company. I am sorry son, you've had your chance. Let your brother take over." Sagot sa kanya ni Rafael at parang sumabog na ang lahat ng pag-asa ni Ezra. Gusto nyang manakit pero hindi nya magawa.

"Mom, dad we've talked about this. I am happy where I am right now. I am not into perfume industry. Give Ezra a chance." Sabi ng kapatid nito na hindi interesado sa pinaguusapan at nakatingin lang sa kanyang cellphone. "Just made me wonder what's gotten into you, Ez. You've been working so hard for years then all of a sudden they disappeared, I just want to know why." Tanong nito pero hindi naman sya nakatingin sa kapatid.

Their mom smirked sa pagkakarinig sa tanong ng anak. "Isn't it obvious? It's because of a women. He finally found his karma. Imagine, he put your uncle in jeopardy for that gold digger. He fired all his loyal employees for her. By the way, where is she right now? Oh yeah, she left you after everything you've done for her." Ezra punched the white board at nagulat silang lahat.
