"Here you go." Rubble handed a civilian a blanket.
"Thank you, Rubble." She said. The civilian wore a grateful smile as she struggle to hold back her joyful tears. She held her crying baby close to her chest and wrapped the long, warm blanket around them. She flashed Rubble one more grateful smile before she turned around and walked back to her husband.
A sad smile grazed Rubble's lips. He loved knowing he helped her, but it was unfortunate and upsetting that she needed help in the first place. Because of the attack, many lost their homes. There was no place for them to go; they were stuck on the streets until the town's hotel got fixed. Thankfully it wasn't too damaged. These people may only have to stay outside for maybe three days maximum.
Chase walked up next to Rubble. He took note of the empty space next to the bulldog. "We're out of blankets," he observed, "Skye!"
"Coming down for another drop off!" She hollered as she descended in her helicopter. She carried a little wooden board. That had a tied white rope looping on both sides. When it made touchdown, she removed the hook from its grasp and flew off. There's was about twenty thick blankets.
"It sure was nice of the store owner to give these blankets out for free." Rubble commented before he picked up a blanket with his mouth.
"Yeah, it really is," Chase smiled, "And the pillows, too." He said as he watched Skye drop off a load of pillows next to Marshall and Zuma and flew away.
Yesterday was a crazy day for sure. Definitely the saddest in Adventure Bay's history. The explosion wiped out at least half the town's population, left the remaining sixty percent homeless. The pups tried to help rebuild the town until the construction teams of the surrounding towns and cities generously decided to pitch in. They kicked the Paw Patrol out of labor with the claim of them working too hard. But of course, as the helpful samaritans they are, they couldn't just sit back and watch other do all the work. They allowed themselves a rest until the morning for them to help out around town. They agreed with Rubble, Zuma, Chase, Marshall, and Skye with the comforts and Ryder and Rocky with helping Mr. Porter and Alex with passing out food and beverages. Thankfully all their close friends in Adventure Bay survived the attack, only one injured was Mayor Goodway; left with a broken leg after some debris fell on it.
"Chase? Hello? Chase, you there?"
Chase blinked and quickly shook his head, "Huh, wha?"
"Did Skye steal your favorite toy or something? Your eyes haven't left her sight for at least a minute."
"I-uh...no, she didn't. I must've blinked out." Chase said. He found his eyes wandering back to the flying Cockapoo. There was no way he did that, right? He was just recalling the events of yesterday. He suddenly felt a hard jab in the side.
"Ow!" He glared at the bulldog.
"You did it again! You keep staring at her and tuning everything else out! I called your name like five time already! What did she steal from you?" Rubble asked irritated.
"She stole nothing, Rubble. Probably just some odd coincidence, nothing more to it." Chase grabbed a blanket as trotted away. He stole one more quick glance at Skye as she flew around the town. 'What is going on with with me?' He looked away and shook his head. 'I probably just need more sleep.'' He found someone else in need of a blanket. He walked up to them and smiled.
"Here you go."

Zuma held a white, fluffy pillow in his paws. He watched as Marshall gave a couple with a baby, a large blanket covering both the mother and the baby, a few pillows.
