Marriage talk

After some chattings and talks they settled themselves for the talk they are gonna have . As an elder to all Arnav's dadi started the conversation.

Dadi: Khushi beta, Aman and Arnav said us about their love and we are very happy to welcome such a lovely girls in our family.

Ratna: Yes, beta. When they said about the marriage we all are on cloud nine. THanks to you as it is your decision for this fast marriage or else see this both idiot will get marry on their 60's only and their kids wil call them grandpa rather than father.

Aman: Mom, we are still handsome unlike your husband who is looking old

Aravind: Oh, hello it is because of my genes that you both are looking handsome and who said i'm old, go and see now also young girls come and drool over me to get a single attention. 

Ratna: What did you young girls are drooling over you....

Dadi places her hand on her head and Arnav sighed seeing the dramatic family whereas both sister seeing the scene infront of them with open mouth and it was the scene enjoyed by both grand ma and grand son. Due to the bickerings, Khushi failed to concentrate on dadi's talk. Having enough of their bickering, she shushed them. 

Dadi: Its been 30 years you both(Aravind and Ratna) got married, but still fighting and acting like a teenagers. She shake head at them disapprovingly. Aman, Arnav and Lavanya stifle their laughter seeing kids like parents and Khushi smiled seeing the adorable family.

Aravind: Leave them beta, they all are like this only. We are very happy about the marriage decision, if you both okay with it we can proceed with further arrrangements and Ratna also called a pandit to fixed the dates for the marriage, sangeeth, mehandhi and other functions. If it is okay for you both.

Lavanya: Ofcourse we are more than fine with that dad. And i'm too happy with to be a part of this family.

Khushi: Yes, uncle....

Aravind(cutting her): Call me father. That was an order more than a request

Khushi(hesitatingly): Pa..Papa. 

Aravind: Now that's like a good girl. he smiled

Khushi: I was saying that, yes I am too happy about them being in relationship and glad that she got such a good family, that I dont want to worry about her future anymore. About the pandit, I think Anya would have informed that we raised without elders guidence so, I would like to say that you will be parent for her too 

Ratna: No need to be emotional beta. Not only she, but you also our daughter.

Arnav: Okay, enough of this sentimental talks, lets discuss about the marriage. We can have all other function in Aashiyana and the marriage n receptions in Shantivaan. 

Arnav invested his words happy as his family, seeing this Khushi sighed in relief thinking he overcome her but somewhere she felt sad thinking that from now onwards he wont disturb her and cant able to feel him close to her. But Lavanya raised her brows seeing him so cool and happy beccause from what she know Arnav is not the guy who is giving up on something or somebody, he is the guy who wants anything he desired by hook or crook. She signals Aman about the same to which he shows a nervous smile which confirm that definetly something is cooking with these brothers as she is not sure of other Razidas. 

After few talks about other arrangements, they proceed with the lunch as it is already past lunch hour and in few hours the Pandit will visit to mark an auspicious day. 

The lunch was pleasant for all with talks, Aman's jokes and Arnav staring at Khushi's happy face. Soon the lunch was over with mouth watering dessert. After an hour or two there was a knock which was soon revealed to be a pandit. They welcome him with respect.

Pandit: Namaste(greetings)

Dadi: Namaste Pandit ji. They both are my grand sons Arnav and Aman. We are planning for their marriage. So, we want to you to say an auspicious day for us.

Aman: Yes..yes Pandit ji see closer days

Ratna: Aman, stop being desperate, shameless. To which all laughed including Pandit seeing mother-son duo. 

Pandit: Dont worry beta. I will see closer days. Can I see the kundli of bride and groom.

Dadi: Ji pandit ji, the brides didnt have kundli but they have their birth time.

Khushi: But dadi what do you meant by 'their', 'brides' and all. I cant understand, it is only Aman and Anya marriage right?

She asked equally confused with Lavanya. But the reply she got in return to her was more shocking than anyone else in the room.

Dadi: We are planning to do Arnav marriage with one of my friend's grand daughter at the same time of Aman's marriage
