We begin this chapter with Y/n in his ghost rider form as he swung his sword at the approaching horde of zombies, tearing through them and reducing them to ashes before a swarm of bugs flew right by him and in the direction of a mother who was shielding her daughter, resigning themselves to their fate.
Before Y/n could act however, Naomi rushed pass the two as she cast the spell "Prison Shield" over the family, protecting them as they were now encased in a large ball of dense vegetation and preventing them from being attacked by the bugs and chase after Naomi instead
With that taken care of, Y/n then heard another scream in the direction of a home and saw that a man was trying to stop two zombies from forcing their way inside to slaughter the current inhabitants. Y/n then grabbed his Handgun from the waistband of his jeans as he took aim, the metal of the gun twisting and morphing around as the gun took a new shape

With both pulls of the trigger, the engravings would light up and flames would dance around the barrel of the gun as both Zombie heads exploded and they dropped dead.
The man who was holding the door shut then peeked outside to see what had happened and upon seeing Y/n staring at them from a distance, he yelped in fear and cowered behind the door again only to peek out again and see Y/n point in the direction of the Mines where everyone else was running to before rush off to fight more zombies
As Y/n was running through the middle of the village, he then stopped upon hearing the sound of a bell and looking in the direction of where it came from, he saw that the monsters in the village were now converging on a wooden tower in the middle and at the top of the tower was nonother than Naomi
Y/n: "What the... fuck...?"
Naomi then proceeded to pour oil from the tower's lantern onto the Zombies that were climbing the tower and then set it ablaze before jumping off of the tower as it turned into a towering inferno and started to collapse. Seeing his teammate falling from such a height, Y/n stabbed his sword in the ground and Holstered his pistol as he ran towards Naomi and then leap into the air, catching her bridal style as she looked shocked at the sight of him
Y/n: "Who knew you'd fall for me today?"
Y/n then landed on the ground again as he let Naomi down as she dusted herself off before preparing her shield while Y/n whistled and a chain shot out from the handle of his sword and flew directly at him as it connected with his wrist before flinging the sword back to it's master as he was now armed with his sword and pistol again, the two of them standing back to back before they both heard a shout
Villager: "Chain Hero, Shield Heroine!"
Looking to the source, they saw that a large group of Villagers had returned, armed with whatever useful weapons they could scavenge or had on them at the time of the wave's beginning as one of them rushed towards the two to greet them
